No settings icon showing up so can’t use ambient mode
The settings icon doesn’t appear in the rooms or devices page so I can’t follow the instructions to set up ambient mode on tv. Rubbish.

This app looks alright on the surface but it’s turned lack of basic functionality into an art form. I have been consistently frustrated with this app. From simple acts like removing a device or reconnecting to internet, good grief, you can’t seem to find what you’re after. Terrible.
Connecting is difficult
Can’t believe how difficult I find it to connect to my chromecast when using hot spot. It used to be easy. A waste of time and money

iPhone user - try to open app and it closes
When I try to open this the google home opening page with the symbol comes up then the app closes. Made sure it was up to date deleted re-downloaded etc seems there is a bug
.
I dunno if it’s my phone but the app literally won’t open like wen I tap it, it crashes.. I’ve tried deleting it then reset it but it does the same thing😭
