Laziness on a screen
Well, the app DOES work but the video quality is rubbish and I get notifications for the messages but I can’t even see the messages themselves. Let me restate that. I WAS NOTIFIED FOR NOTHING I CAN SEE!!

I can’t even call my partner in the USA with this app
I can’t even call my other half in the USA as this so called rubbish app not working still since yesterday… now it just rings with this horrible calling sound… get your act together google ..
Google Meet
Google meet is only good if everybody you know has the app. Most Apple users will just use FaceTime or FaceTime link. Or other platforms. Most people don’t know about this app this is why it’s not as popular as Facebook messenger and WhatsApp video call
Bugs with airpod
So it look like this app got a bug when used with AirPod pro2 for some reason. The sound just doesn’t work or it freezes. I have to use the AirPod AFTER starting a call for this to not happen… which is super annoying. Obviously a bug because it never happen on any other apps and it does that on both iPhone and iPad. I hope it get fixed.. it’s been like that for a while

Great Voice and video quality
More stable grop calls than even facetime
Rubbish app
It don’t work well it makes a funny ringing tone but you can’t get throw to the other person this is a ongoing problem..
Links never work on my iPhone
I click and just go round in circles without being able to join the meeting - grateful for the outreach from the team to try to help but didn’t resolve the issue. 1. Google meet link received 2. Click link 3. arrive holding page prompting to switch to app - no other option available to join from browser so only option is to proceed 4. Redirected to App Store (even though app already downloaded) 5. Click open app 6 app launches to home page with no reference to meeting 7 click back on meeting link (go to step 3 and repeat to 7 ad nauseam)

A STEREOTYPICAL ADVERTISEMENT
WAS PUT OFF BY THE ADVERTISEMENT THAT SHOW PEOPLE OF LIGHT SKIN AS THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO CAN USE THE APPLICATION AS A CONVICTION TOOL AND ONE MAN OF DARK SKIN AS A PERSON WHO CAN USE IT TO CAMOUFLAGE HIS SKIN. IT ALSO SHOWS BLACK PEOPLE AS CAPABLE TO USE IT TO DO VIDEO CALLS WITH RUG DOLLS. THIS IS AN INSULT AND RACIALLY DISCRIMINATING.
