The problem with this app is that you cannot choose what to receive and what not. The filter system is very bad, actually non existent. I get news regarding Sport, Britain got talent or Fortnite which I really don't care. Why can't we just choose the highlights someone's really interested in...why can't we filter news so I don't get info which doesn't bring value added to a person...

The Google news and Weather app was great. After deleting it so that I can get the “new and improved” app I was very disappointed as I keep seeing things I really don’t care about, for example Football and the Kardashians!!!! Why God, WHY?? It doesn’t give me the option to not see these articles, but avoid the certain News outlet, which is not fair, cause that might have come from their entertainment section.

I loved the old app, everything about it.
I hate this new one. Sorry, but I do.

Prefer the old one. It is more friendly and I can put the dark theme for night reading. 
I can put my choice of news more easy to browse headlines and open what I need.

It gets stuck pushing certain articles for weeks and weeks. There is always something in the “headlines” section that’s a few weeks old. Some countries have no news feeds at all. It’s pretty crap to be honest.

I am only giving 4 stars because my thumbnails are not loading. Even after closing and reopening the app. Otherwise it is a great concept that I love so much. I’m sure the devs can just tweak a little to fix this bug.
