Description

Google Photos is the home for all your photos and videos. Easily store, edit, organise and search your memories with the help of Google AI.

• AI-POWERED EDITING TOOLS: Make complex edits in just a few taps. Remove unwanted distractions with Magic Eraser. Improve out-of-focus, blurry photos with Unblur. Enhance lighting and brightness with Portrait Light.
• SEARCH MADE SIMPLE: Your photos are easily searchable in a natural, descriptive way, like 'Alice and me laughing', 'Kayaking on a lake surrounded by mountains' or 'Emma painting in the back garden'.
• EASY ORGANISATION: Google Photos helps to declutter your gallery by automatically organising duplicates and similar photos into photo stacks. It also offers smart, intuitive folders for screenshots, documents, custom albums and daily camera roll organisation, making your gallery feel orderly and personalised. You can even save sensitive photos and videos to a locked folder protected by your device screen lock.
• RELIVE AND SHARE YOUR FAVOURITE MEMORIES: Stroll down memory lane in Google Photos. Share photos, videos and albums with any of your contacts – even if they don't use Google Photos.
• YOUR MEMORIES ARE SAFE: Your photos and videos are safe and secure from the instant that you store them, protected by our advanced security infrastructure while in storage or when you share them.
• ALL YOUR MEMORIES IN ONE PLACE: With backup on, you can easily transfer your photos from other apps, galleries and devices, so all of your content is in one place.
• FREE UP SPACE: Never worry about running out of space on your phone again. Photos that are backed up in Google Photos can be removed from your device's storage in just a tap.
• PRINT YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENTS:
From your phone to your home. Turn your favourite memories into photo books, photo prints, canvas wall art and more. Price varies by product. Printing services available in the US, EU, UK and CA only.

Google Photos Reviews

Does not work without full photo access

R_temi on

Singapore

The app is useless without full access and then displays all the random pics from my phone on top of my Library. Crazy.

Dumbest app ever created in human history

Ahamayush on

Singapore

I mean, how can you revert the settings to default after update? Thats really stupid. And why does the emails share the same storage partition as photos app in the cloud storage and suddenly i cant receive important email. Get it together google.

Terrible syncing

LaserSpud on

Singapore

The most atrocious backup system. The fact that it is a one way sync app is annoyingly horrendous. Some like it but I despise it. Also, the fact that there is no function that makes it easy to delete duplicates like icloud photos; is a big reason to stay away. Idk how yall enjoy this app. Most frustrating app of the century.

Worst photo app.

Bah Teng on

Singapore

Just do a simple search online and you’ll see all the negative reviews from everyone. Please read before downloading: HUGE privacy concerns as the app requires you to allow access to all photos for some reason, even when you just want to edit a few stored photos that you’ve already off loaded to their cloud, there’s no reason to require us to allow access to all photos especially when the photo is no longer on our devices. Second major issue is even after so many years the albums still don’t sync. You organise the photos in your albums, close the app and open it again and all the photos are no longer sorted in the order you spent HOURS on. Third issue is how they constantly try and trick you into backing up your entire phone album to the cloud just so you would run out of space and purchase more cloud storage. One wrong click and suddenly you’re out of storage space because you accidentally turned backup on due to their calculated design into tricking you. Worst part is if you want to delete your backup they’ll start deleting the ACTUAL PICTURES on your device. No one is working on this app anymore, nothing has been done to improve any aspects of this app for years, other than pushing for you to purchase their storage upgrades, and requiring you to give up more of your privacy for no known reasons. Do not download.

1+ year bug not fixed

zainsohail88 on

Singapore

It has been more than a year since a bug i reported was acknowledged. Unfortunately googles worst support and engineering teams have been beating around the bush since then with no fix. Every o quarter i ask them for an update and they ask me to provide exact same details everytime and then they disappear until the next time i ask them again this has been ongoing for more than a year now and i am on there paid plan suffering this bad behaviour. Unfortunately I have decided to discontinue using Google and get tortured by them.

Cloud symbol gone

Lumix70 on

Singapore

Cloud symbol when photo is backed up gone! Now don’t know which is backed up and which is not.

How to fail as a image hosting storage service

SanjuuManjuu on

Singapore

1. Take away user choice in deciding what to back up. 2. Mix both their locally saved images and camera photos into a single compliation, effectively burning up the storage space 3. Tell the user in the most blatant move ever: “Hey! We realize you’re running out of storage space!! Buy our additional storage service!” Thanks, but no thanks.
