All my Google Book purchases have disappeared from my library. I have tried all the solutions provided by Google and absolutely nothing has worked.

My number one go to for ebooks until it goes wrong. 
My last purchase of two books, one which exports as ACSM for EPUB and the other and the other which goes to 404. That’s an error.
The requested URL /books/download/The_Lost_World_of_Genesis_One-epub.acsm?id=6qZLAz3TckgC&format=epub&output=acs4_fulfillment_token&source=gbs_api&authuser=0was not found on this server.  That’s all we know

From google it’s not possible to directly contact them about the error. It’s not possible to get a solution to the problem even though it’s a known error. It’s not possible to get a refund for the book in question even though it’s in breach of Australian Consumer Law. 

$36.28 is not much to return to me when they’re clearly at fault. $36.28 doesn’t mean I won’t eat but I don’t have that money to give away to an company like Google.

This app is amazing! 

But, I would really appreciate it if you guys could add a shuffle bookshelf option, its simple, I know but it makes the app a bit more sophisticated.

I also would appreciate a customisation option for the home screen its not a requirement or anything but just because its white and bland to me and I truly believe it would make the application pop, instead of being slightly empty. I hope you read my review and take what I say seriously. Thanks!

I’ve been able to find a selection of books on Play that I’ve not been able to find elsewhere. Sometimes, too, they’re cheaper.

By contrast, the reading app is basic, though, with poor selection and highlighting one of its clumsiest features. Books are often scanned books that are highlighted unevenly i.e. there are highlight gaps between words in a highlighted sentence. Selection is for words only, not parts of words. Dashes between words makes individual words unselectable. You can’t select directly up because the colour selector box is plonked in the way.

The product actually feels abandoned by Google, I wonder if it’s to be axed?

Devs seem to have fixed the most annoying bug, so thank you!! 

This app is decent, it’s still a shame you can’t purchase books inside the app though. Quite annoying. 

Old review: App bugs out almost every time you try to re-open it after not reading for a little while (like an hour or more). You just get a spinning wheel and can’t get out of the book or see any text. Forcing the app closed and reopening is the only way to fix it I can find, which is a pain to do if you read in frequent short bursts. Also, you can’t buy books within the app. That’s just basic.
