Books immediately pause when you lock your phone screen or exit the app. Why? It makes zero sense when other apps don’t have that issue. Who wants to have to leave their audiobook app screen running constantly?

I’ve noticed on this app some pages don’t load. Certain pages in the books I PAID FOR, mind you, will not load until I’ve restarted the app, and then restarted my device several times.

It is a little silly on iPad however, where in landscape mode it’ll flip two pages as if they are on the same piece of paper. Also unlike on iPhone, the home bar and the status at the top of the screen can’t be hidden, creating unnecessary distractions.

Fun fact, any books you buy through the google play bookstore can potentially disappear randomly and the chat help/ support is useless. If you depend on this app to study and or get your work done DON’T. I have hundreds of dollars worth of books I cannot access and all of my studying and work is on hold until ??? who knows when, considering the support staff didn’t know either. Wasted hours of my time trying to troubleshoot for nothing.
