There aren’t many ways to earn points and the ones there are some are silly, like uploading private dog medical Vet records. Dogs may not have HIPPA like we people do but I do not want medical records for any of my loved ones human or not just out in the open. Also, GoPatter has limited the giftcard rewards. Some are for pros aka paid members only which is ridiculous. A competitor app called Vetted’s far far superior. They actually give users opportunities to get reward points and redeem gift cards. Another thing that brings this rating down is basically the only way to get some points is to complete three days of walking in a row. But. Once you do that you have to remember to come back to the app the following Monday and instead of guaranteed points it’s a gamble. Trickery they do there hoping it’s forgotten to come back and points are lost!!! On Vetted they give points for Multiple walks in a day And have lots of other genuine opportunities to gain coins like watching ads, and other things. -- AnnaVeyy, 2026-09-27 ### **--- "Only good rewards require subscription" $10 Home Depot gift card or $10 Starbucks gift card require a $15 subscription. So you have to lose five dollars to get it. I was so excited for this reward and had only 2 weeks left to redeem it if I got the lowest amount of points per week. If you get the lowest amount of points per week, which is common, it takes around 4 months to redeem a giftcard. I have changed nothing about my day to day except logging our walks, and now I earn money doing it. Achieving goals is super easy; you get a game board once a week and choose a tile to earn your patter-bucks. They add up quickly! There are always other ways to make patter-bucks too, like questionnaires about your dog.
