Works Great
Easy to use. So much fun to play around with.
Sync issue
The go pro is great but the auto sync to my phone doesn’t work very good. I have to try a few times and reboot to make it work. This should not be necessary if this didn’t happen I’d give 5 stars
Miss
The app privacy policy is bad enough, making me more comfortable just taking the SD card out and transferring files manually, but I pretty much have to do that anyway because it’s constantly saying there isn’t enough room on my iPhone to transfer videos to my photos app, even though I have hundreds of gigabytes free according to system storage in settings. Sometimes restarting my phone fixes it but honestly their app harasses me so much to subscribe to their monthly cloud storage while I’m just trying to use the app for the few hundred dollar camera I already bought from them that it’s just not worth it. On top of that I pretty much have to use my GoPro plugged in with the battery out if I want to be able to record for any reasonable length of time without it overheating and then turning off, missing footage. I really can’t recommend their app, but kinda not their products in general. It’s fine, it’s nice to use when it works, and I make it work now that I’m used to it’s finicky behaviours, but if I could go back in time I’d buy something else. At the very least don’t ask me more than once to subscribe with popups every time I’m just trying to download my footage, let alone almost every time I open the app for any reason.
Can’t export at full quality
After cutting the videos it can’t export at full quality anymore lol even with subscription
Keeps failing
Keeps failing to upload my first video, errors, lost connection. Super frustrating especially when I paid for the membership
