Just for the single fact you can’t even open your brand new GoPro without local wifi connection with internet required and a phone (also with internet but that is not good enough! Needs trash wifi also!) and newest iPhone only with iOS17-18+. Ridiculous. Completely not okay business practice (didn’t, and doesn’t state it anywhere on the package that new GoPros only work with internet access). You can really see there’s no good people left at GoPro today just for that single reason. Who tf has wifi connection on the road, beach, bushes, wild or anywhere you want to film. Plus a phone. With internet. The newest phones. With the newest updates. Yea. There is officially 0% GoPro left in these newer “GoPro”s. And just read all the criminal foreign evil activity going on with the app stuff. Evil people, people behind GoPro and this app today, illegally, wrongfully and only with evil intent, takes all your private data with the sole purpose of selling it to your enemies. (Yes they have written, directly in the legals, they will sell your naked pictures and videos).

To see subscription based app - i’m not buying any upgrades from this brand. It’s like buying a bike an have to pay subscrption to use it - why ?

Really irritating that they have blocked for downloading to your mobile device - that only is available through payment monthly. Hi - it is your media at the end, right.?

When is Quik for Windows ready release ???

First of all: the iPad app crashes when trying to export from my iPad, which makes it pretty useless, since I can't export anything. Second: The Mac app. I was so happy when you finally made the app for Mac, so that i could speed up my editing with all the same functions that I already use on my iPhone - or so I thought. You can only select 75 different clips to edit. This limitation isn't on the iPad or iPhone, only the (much more powerful) Mac. Why? I use my GoPro to shoot small clips all throughout the day, when on trips with family and friends, and when I get home I select highlights and make edits of all these clips - which very often count more than 75 short clips. Why can't I edit this like I do on the iPhone? Then theres the issue with the timestamps on the videos. If I use Auto upload directly from the GoPro camera, then the timestamps are correct, but if I upload from the app, then every video get offset by 2 hours. But those two hours are added to the correct time, so now all the videos uploaded from the app have the wrong timestamp, but those uploaded from the camera are correct, which results in a complete mess, with videos being completely out of the order they were filmed in. Please fix these issues, as I love using the GoPro for shooting video, while still being present on trips, but absolutely hate the way the apps work.

Very nice and entuitive app. Easy to navigate. But it crashes a lot. Very often when dealing with many clips it tends to freeze and then just shut down. There should be an easier way to erase old clips, since too many old vids in the app slows the app a lot. Used on iPhone 14 Pro Max.
