I was very skeptical at first for it shows the last developer activity seen on the app was two years ago, and then  it being $9.99 …I was almost certain this was a mistake… I was wrong. No lie, his is actually the most solid app for satellite tracking.  I’ve been using these apps for years and not one comes remotely close to this app layout/design.. Maybe Heavens Above(which is not available on the iOS App Store any longer), but this is actually better. Well done! Now I get to delete the several sat tracking apps I’ve been using.

Bought this app because it was recommended on YouTube. After paying downloading I realized it is only showing passes after sundown and before sunrise, can’t figure out why. Pretty much useless to me at this point, if there is a setting I’m missing let me know and I’ll revise my review, but at the moment I regret spending the money. Satellite Chasers (also available for iOS) works better for me and it is free.

I bought this app specifically because it advertised I’d be able to track the Inspiration4 spacecraft but after I paid $10 the link they  provided to set up tracking was no good. I looked for a way to contact the developer or support and couldn’t find any, go figure. What a scam.

Today, I revise my original review. As much as I love your app, I really became frustrated with the fact that it just sat for a long time untouched. 

A friend told me about another app (ISS Tracker) that I started using, but it’s still not as good as GoSatWatch! Yours is the best satellite tracking app in the iOS App Store. 

Glad to see you’re back at it again! Keep up the great work and keep the features coming.

Even though the developer hasn’t done any updates in years it is still hands down the best of the satellite trackers for the iPad and iPhone. Clean, easy to use interface without unnecessary clutter choking other similar apps. Easy to add additional satellites. The perfect no-nonsense app for satellite tracking.

I used this app for a very long time to watch for visible iridium passes but it seems to no longer show them in the passes menu. It only shows the ISS.

July 11 2019 update
The app has started crashing continuously. I deleted the app and re downloaded, it seems to work now. The unfortunate thing is that now I have to find and download ephemeris data that I previously had.

I really like the application.  I really wish it had an altitude imput though.  I'm a pilot and sometimes the viewing angles are a little bit off.  I think that's due to my height above the surface.

Also, I can't get the X-37 to show a customized icon.  I thought it used to have one but not I just see a generic satellite.

I’ve been an amateur tracker for a couple of decades now and have used some great applications over the years, including Traksat and WinTrak.  GoSatWatch ranks right at the top of my list.  Always accurate, great GUI options and have never had any bug issues.  I like that I can point to the TLEs that I’m interested in.

I absolutely love this app. I use this often to explain the way satellites orbit the Earth and how crowded space is actually getting. Even though the icons aren’t to scale when zooming, the point gets across. I look forward to continuing to use this app into the future and any possible improvements that may come. The ability to add you own element sets was the key feature for me. Connecting with celesteack or space-track.org for up to date sets is a great feature.

I've been using an app like this since the Palm Pilot days, and grabbed this app years ago when it first hit the App Store. The dev has been great in keeping it updated and adding features. It's super easy to use and contains a lot of detailed information. 

No one looks up anymore :(  We're all staring down at our devices, but missing a great show up above. I'm lucky enough to still have a dark sky, and whenever I show off this app to people they totally love it! Seeing a long bright pass of the ISS is a real treat and many people had no idea you see this on a routine basis.
