There's a new update bug that's extremely annoying - Everytime I want to adjust brightness on my LED strip lights on this one particular DIY ive been using for 3 years now, you have to first change the color, adjust brightness and then switch back to the color I wanted -- For some reason when attempting to adjust brightness on this single diy (other diys work just fine), it doesn't do anything anymore unless I follow the aforementioned steps

Colors move choppier now it seems like.  

Also why can you not adjust the speed it seems?  Always pulses so fast and with the brightness range it looks like it’s spazzing out.

Can we please bring back the old version of brilliant?  So many of my schemes got ruined.  

Love the lights tho!  And the rest of the new app update is super nice.

I used Goove app and iPhone Shortcuts app that allows to commend Siri to turn lights on and off, and with various setting with different colours of led lights, controlling by saying “hey Siri, lights on, or rainbow light, or green light” etc.. better than Alexa! But You need to program it 1st, you can learn that from YouTube.

I can’t edit individual segments in an animation, so the triad is essentially a single light, not a block of three. You CAN edit segments I. Static mode, but not animations. You can also access animations that do have individual segments illuminated, but you can’t control the speed so it’s basically just an epileptic flurry of activity.

This has to be the most unnecessarily complicated app I have used.. you can’t find anything… not sure why there’s ON/OFF labels for the lights instead of just a toggle button with haptic feedback…. I created “ALL LIGHTS” groups.. good luck finding it in this stupid app… the device that uses TV colours and uses my other lights to display them, uses something called dreamview.. which is next to impossible to setup, once it’s setup, it’s impossible to use or even find the option to turn it on.. this app is 100% useless, I just use it to create labels and then I use Alexa with my voice……. Also….. I’ve created softwares in the past, and I’m a tech guy LOL if I can’t use this app, no one can.
