The goWatch app for GoPro® cameras allows you to remote control your GoPro® cameras directly from your Apple Watch.

GoPro® Hero 5 Black Edition, GoPro® Hero 5 Session, GoPro® Hero 6 Black Edition, GoPro® Hero 7 White/Silver/Black Edition, GoPro® Hero13 Black, Hero12 Black, Hero11 Black, Hero10 Black, Hero9 Black, and Hero8 Black, Mission 1 Pro, GoPro® Hero 11 Mini, GoPro® Max, Max 2 360°, and GoPro® Fusion 360° cameras.

### IMPORTANT:
If you do not find the app after purchase on your watch: Please install the app with the App Store app on your watch (not on the iPhone!).

### Features:
- Start/stop recording
- Power off the camera
- Tag moment
- Change the camera mode (photo, video, multi-shot) and presets (*new*)
- Locate the camera
- Show camera information (battery level, free space, number of videos and images, ...)
- *New*: Show the last camera state (connected, recording) on the watch front screen (camera status complication).
- *New*: Keep camera connection alive while app is in background.
- *New*: Capture countdown (3/5/10/15/20 s).

I was looking for a way to be able to start my videos without having to touch the camera and it works brilliantly like it’s supposed to do.
you can start and stop the rec 
you can switch modes of the camera
you can use a “find my” function if you lose your camera

I bought this today for my Hero 10. The only thing that shows up connect devices is GoPro Quik-The Remote-and Vola. So it was a dead end and no way to connect. The you tube link on the app page is two years old. I wish I could get my 3 dollars back!!

Has a terrible time getting connected to my Hero 8. Usually takes three or four pairing requests to connect and then when it does it will work briefly and then within minutes lose connection. Then you have to open the pairing mode up again on the GoPro and start all over. I’m really disappointed. I thought this would be a good replacement for my GoPro wristband controller but alas it is not.

I ordered the app on my iPhone 12, then downloaded and started the app on watch. Paired to my gopro12 with no issues in just a minute or two. I did see an odd list of  ??? During the pairing.

Once paired it seems to work well. It appears to use the settings from the previous recording which is fine. You can also switch modes and highlight along with power on and off.

Everything seems to work. But have not tried it in the field yet. So far satisfied.

I should have read the reviews that warn you this app doesn’t work. How does Apple allow stuff like this?!? It’s 100% a money grab by the “developer” who’s just taking everyone’s money without providing an application that does anything. The only thing buying this app did was make me $3 poorer. What a scam!

So just got my GoPro 11 and hooking up apps to my Apple Watch Series 6,  remote app took 30 seconds to figure out without reaching out to google. Can’t wait for my white water rafter trip tomorrow to test out. Update after if needed.
