## GPS Race Timer Description
Measure acceleration times such as 0–60 mph, 60–120 mph and 1/4 mile directly with your iPhone — accurately and without extra hardware.

The app is designed so it doesn’t need to be operated while driving; you just set everything up beforehand while stationary.
Measurements then start automatically — when the target speed is reached or when a start is detected.
You can save results locally on your iPhone and, if needed, export them or transfer them to other devices.

Preset timers: 60 ft, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 1 mile, 0 – 60 mph, 0 – 120 mph, 50 – 75 mph, 60 – 120 mph, 0 – 100 km/h, 0 – 200 km/h, 80 – 120 km/h, 100 – 200 km/h. All timers are, of course, fully adjustable.
The free version measures up to two times per run.

How to use the app:

Check the timer settings on the start screen. If everything looks good, place your iPhone in the car where it has good GPS reception and is held securely, then start the acceleration test.
You can adjust the timer configuration in the Settings screen (just tap the relevant timer). Then return to the race screen and follow the previous instruction.

Optional PRO version (in-app purchase):

1. Up to four timers in parallel (instead of two)
2. Precise determination of elevation differences
3. Simulation of a Sportsman start and reaction-time measurement
4. No ad banners

Nice idea and obviously was good by other reviews but not so good for me.

The only thing that worked for me was the current speed & after 10 runs the 0-60 worked once. I drive a Polestar 2 LRSM and it said my 0-60 was 5.1 seconds even though polestar state 5.9 secs. It may just be a glitch but I definitely wouldn't pay for an app that just tells me my speed......i can look at the dash for that

This app works well on the new update, 0-60 and quarter mile times vary on time of day , tyres air pressure and launch and weight, empty petrol tank gives you a quicker car, makes sense, this app is very good and works well, done a load of runs and all are great and helps you improve your times as you know what you need to do to get a quicker time, in100 percent recommend, of course only use if you have 100per cent GPS signal

Does what is says on the Tin. There was a critique that the reset button doesn’t work (which is doesn’t) but all you have to do is swipe right and then press the race timer to reset it.

I get up to 70mph ish and it thinks I’ve only gone about 52mph. Phone hadn’t moved or anything. I verified my actual speed as getting to 70mph via a GPS speedo to proven how inaccurate it is

Tested 0-60 times with my fiesta ST, standard car supposed to do it in 6.9 seconds, my car that I believe to be stock apart from a quick shifter and a torque mount is registering a 6 second flat. Struggle to believe if my car is truly stock that I would be achieving a full second off ford’s claimed time, so not sure this app is that accurate.

With 100% gps signal, I did twelve, safe 0-60 runs. Three didn’t register (yes, I was stationary for several seconds before setting off). Seven recorded 6.8s thru 8.2s. One was 6.3s (perhaps a poor start) and one was 5.3s. My car is supposed to do a time of 5.2s, so I safely watched the speedo and ‘counted’ on one more run. ..... the time was 5 and a little bit seconds.

This is one of two apps for 0-60 that I tried. This worked straight away but then failed to record anymore runs. However if you come out of the app close it completely and then reopen it then it works just fine. This does however mean a bit of extra messing about to do this. If they fix this bug then I would highly recommend this app as it works well and I like that each run can be saved if you wish.

I really enjoy this app and hope it's accurate. It's great as apart from loading the app, there's nothing to press to start it as it's all done on GPS which makes sense.

Tried several runs that didn’t register 0-60 but registered 1/4 mile and top speed, then did some slow test runs that worked for the 0-60, like it couldn’t keep up with the acceleration, which is quick but not that quick, and it was showing 100% gps signal... seems to struggle anything under 8 seconds... I’ll try again and adjust my review if it starts working... but so far I’d be better with a stopwatch and guesswork
