## GPS to SMS 2 - Pro Description
GPS to SMS ist eine App die es Ihnen ermöglicht Ihren aktuellen Standort an Freunde per SMS, E-Mail oder Whatsapp zu senden. (Auch kopieren in die Zwischenablage ist möglich) 
In der Nachricht sind die GPS-Daten und ein Link auf Google™-Maps enthalten. 
Dieser Link öffnet auf dem iPhone die "Karten"-App mit welcher Sie dann zum Zielort navigieren können. 

Anwendungsfälle: 

• Die Urlaubssaison beginnt: Senden Sie die Position ihres Wohnmobilstellplatzes, Campingplatzes oder Hotel 
• Senden Sie auf einem grossen Musik-Open-Air-Festival ihren Standort an Freunde
• Melden Sie Ihren Standort bei einer Fahrrad- oder Autopanne
• Verletzt beim Wandern oder Skifahren? Mit dieser App können Sie leicht gefunden werden!
• Naturkatastrophen wie z.B. Hochwasser und Erdbeben sind heutzutage leider keine Seltenheit mehr.
• Senden Sie die Adresse eines Tauch- oder Ankerplatzes an Freunde
• Senden Sie Ihren Standort auf der Heimreise an Ihre Familie
• Ihre Kinder können Ihnen mit dieser App ihren Aufenthaltsort mitteilen

Die App zeigt die aktuelle Adresse (Strasse, Postleitzahl, Ort) an, bei der sie sich befinden
Diese App kann im Notfall Ihr Leben retten. Senden Sie im Notfall ihre exakte Position an Helfer.

Features: 

• Komplett in deutsch 
• SMS oder E-Mail mit Positionsdaten + Höhe versenden 
• Email mit der automatisch ermittelten Postadresse ihres Standorts versenden
• Anzeige der aktuellen GPS-Daten (Längengrad, Breitengrad, Höhe, Genauigkeit) 
• Anzeige der Koordinaten in Dezimal oder Grad° Minuten' Sekunden'' 
• Anzeige der aktuellen Position in der Kartenansicht (Satellit, Karte, Hybrid) 
• Manuelle Korrektur/Eingabe Ihrer Position in der Kartenansicht, z.B. wenn das GPS-Signal zu ungenau ist (im Inneren eines Hauses, Tiefgarage, etc.) oder Sie einen anderen Ort z.B. für eine Verabredung versenden möchten 
• Funktioniert auch ohne Internetverbindung. (z.B. im Ausland, um teure Internet-Roaming-Gebühren zu sparen). Die E-Mail-Funktion und die Kartenansicht sind dann allerdings eingeschränkt. 
• SMS und Email enthalten einen Link zu Google™-Maps welcher auf dem iPhone die Karten-App öffnet, auf anderen Geräten einen Browser mit der Kartenansicht 
• Voreinstellung der Empfänger-Adressen (SMS, Email) 
• Datenschutz: Ihre Daten werden nicht auf einem Server gespeichert wie z.B. bei Facebook™ oder Google™-Latitude sondern direkt an den Empfänger übermittelt!

### ***** "Sehr gute App! Aber Verbesserungsvorschläge..."
Die App ist sehr gut und kann sogar in Extremsituationen (ohne Outdoor-Internet-Empfang) Leben retten.
So etwas habe ich gesucht!

Habe aber ein paar Verbesserungsvorschläge:

1.) Text allgemein größer darstellen.

2.) Schaltflächen größer darstellen.

3.) Standort (Str. u. Ort, Land) direkt anzeigen (nicht oben langsam rein scrollen lassen).

4.) Wenn möglich "Str. u. Ort, Land" auch in gesendeter SMS, bzw. WhatsApp anzeigen. (Wäre sehr gut).

5.) Wenn möglich kleine Kartenansicht mit aktueller Position zur Orientierung DIREKT beim Start anzeigen (ohne extra Schaltfläche unten).

6.) Frei wählbares Hintergrundbild anbieten.

7.) "WhatsApp-Schaltfläche" auch direkt unten anbringen.

8.) Zusätzlich aktuelles Datum (Tag, Monat, Jahr) zur bereits angezeigten Uhrzeit beifügen.

Ich benutze die App, um meinem Mann den Ort zu schicken, wo er mich nach der Arbeit abholen soll, da ich oft an verschiedenen Orten arbeite. Wirklich super - lohnt sich gleich, da es meinem Mann viel Benzin für unnötiges rumfahren spart  :)

ich bin bereits Nutzer seit der 1. Version und gratuliere zu dieser sinnvollen und einfach zu bedienenden App. 
Das was noch fehlt ist, dass der Empfänger der SMS eine Schnittstelle zu einer der Navigationsapps hat.  In meinem Fall wäre das zum Beispiel Navigon. Ich denke TomTom würde sich aber auch anbieten.  
Wenn wir z. B. in der USA sind und kein Datenroaming haben (die eingebaute Kartenapp braucht Daten), so lässt sich der Standort noch besser unabhängig vom Internet finden. Die meisten Tankapps haben bereits diese Schnittstelle. Ist da was geplant? Als Update oder 3.Version?

Ich hab die alte Version der App schon seit Jahren auf meinem IPhone. Benutze die App zum Gps Daten anzeigen und versenden.
Die neue Version kann auch whatsapp und in die zwischenablage kopieren und ist ausserdem auch für mein iPhone 6 plus optimiert. 👍 
Da ich viel Reise benutze ich die App, um ab und an bescheid zu geben, wo ich gerade bin. Die einzige App bei der dass auch ohne Internet funktioniert.
