Terrible app
The audio is an automated robot and the information provided is so basic it’s not worth using. There are also so many app glitches it was a nightmare to use.

I have been using this since it started. Really great I have used it all over the world and for a quick orientation walk or an in depth explore this is a really good resource. The articles are often very interesting the only down side is of course hotel and restaurant recommendations can be out of date. I spent a while trying to find an ice cream parlour in Manchester that is now a tattoo parlour !
Used in a recent trip to Bucharest. Saved masses of time identifying key sights to visit and with the photo and information accompanying the sight I found it useful for cutting down on wasted walking time when you are in a city for a few days. I found it useful for locating my position in a strange city and designing my own tour . Very comprehensive list of cities and towns so will enjoy using for forthcoming trips. Excellent app when exploring the world.
As the title of this review states, if you like exploring cities all across the world then this App is for you. It covers over 1600 cities globally. I downloaded the App as we were taking a trip to Dublin (which we had not been to before). There were 11 different walks to choose from for Dublin and several travel articles also for Dublin !! We downloaded the walk we wanted and it gave us a map of the walk, the stopping points for each “highlight”, an explanation to the highlight and it gave us our location making it really simple to use. Yes you have to pay for an annual subscription, but if you download any other “internet” based walks from other providers these are typically charged for by each walk. This App pays for itself after just two walks from my perspective making it very good value for such a quality app. You can try it for free. If it’s not for you then you can cancel the subscription. In our case, since we have a trip to Singapore and Vietnam next year I have paid the subscription and already downloaded the walks and travel guides so that I can plan the trip in more detail in advance of going. All in all an excellent App (and I don’t normally rate Apps !!) and one I would thoroughly recommend - you have nothing to lose but a lot to gain IMHO ! Enjoy your travels.
Used it for the first time for my trip to Romania. Such a good app and the cost is very reasonable
- Riddled with Ads constantly - faulty downloads, never able to access information online - better off just printing off info or screenshot stuff before travelling
I used this app on a recent holiday in Barcelona and Girona. It’s so good. The maps are really detailed and the absolute best feature is having toilets clearly marked. So when you’re out and about on a city walk you don’t have to keep stoping at cafés but can locate public toilets. This in itself is worth the subscription. Having the maps downloaded is great and the GPS is very easy to follow. We started on walking tour but then did a detour (to buy a football shirt)! So picked it up at a different point and completed it “backwards”. Very easy to do. There was just the right amount of info to be interesting without a chore to read. It was handy that we could have 2 phones with the same account which meant that my husband and I could take turns at being “the tour guide”. When we were in Girona the walking tour took us on a great route around and we definitely saw interesting parts of the town we’d have missed otherwise, including a walk along the city walls. There are also articles that you can download too to read before you go on a variety of topics or “lists” e. g. Food, shopping, themes. Looking forward to using it on our next holiday touring in Sicily and surprised at how many tours it has for even relatively small towns. One piece of advice - do have a portable charger as if you’ve got the map and info up as you walk it will use more battery than usual.
The app is decent but having used it for a while I was promised a year’s subscription for answering some questions and then I got charged when I bought it!
I signed up to the free version initially as I’m sceptical about these apps, however it soon became apparent that it was very useful so I took out the years subscription for a reasonable price. I’ve now used it it several locations and one of the best things is being able to download the walks and maps so they are accessible when you have no mobile data as it just uses your gps. Guided walks are provided which can be customised to your own preference and you can hop about in the walks in a different order when you are out and about if you wish, for instance I changed between an historic tour and an introduction tour of Tenerife to suit our interests. Voice navigation is also available but I never used this very much. For a change this app subscription is well worth the money and has been brilliant at helping find sights around the world.
Really useful app that recommends attractions and walking routes around cities. I’ve used it in multiple cities to plan walking routes to ensure I see the top attractions. It also provides concise, informative information on each attraction, monuments, place of interest etc and an easy and accurate live route guidance between each point that you can customise beforehand or as you go, well worth upgrading to enable these options & would highly recommend.
