When you use the native Apple Watch app to record your workouts there’s no easy way to export that data.
This app aims to fill that gap, reading from HealthKit, fetching running, cycling and many more workouts and converting them into handy GPX files.
You can also upload GPX files to Strava, open them on your favourite GPX editor or share them.
If iCloud Drive is enabled on your device, GPX files are synced automatically in a folder named "GPX Workout".
You can easily browse them with the Finder app on your Mac or with the Files app on iOS.
This is a one man band project: comments and suggestions are welcome and I'll do my best to answer and give support!
Great little app. Does what is missing very simple
Edit, is there a way to contact the programmer? Would love a small change to the gpx output to be able to import in basecamp. I can point out what is wrong.
Looking for a way to export workouts to gpx this is the first app that you come across. And so it should be. Simpel install, and straight to the point select and export to gpx. And directly exported to iCloud Drive. Compliments and thank you for this nice little app that really fills a missing option.
Almost perfect app
This app works very fine and simple. However the gpx files created generates an error on opening within the Garmin Basecamp programm on Windows 10. As far as I know it works fine with some other programms. So I am waiting fixing error for Garmin
Small app but fit for purpose
This app does exactly that thing that is missing in Apple’s Activity app: the extraction of a GPX file from your workout log, so you can use it for whatever other purpose. Simply great!
