## Gratitude Garden Description
This app will help you be happier! It pushes you to think about what has gone right in your day, which has been shown to increase happiness. Every time you note down what good things have happened (and there is always something), you receive points you can use to build up a garden and also a Gratitude Card with suggestions for further things you could do to increase your gratitude and happiness.

Research shows that one of the most effective ways that people can become happier is to note down the good things that happen every day. This shifts our focus onto what has gone right, rather than leaving us to ruminate about problems.

There is a huge amount of research indicating that the act of recalling and writing down what has gone well each day is one of the best way to increase your happiness. One study found that gratitude journaling for ten weeks increased happiness by 25% over the people who didn't keep a gratitude journal. Gratitude is also linked to high self-esteem, kindness, good health, energy and generosity.

The Gratitude Garden was designed by Izzy McRae, a coach and happiness teacher. You can find out more information about her and her courses at www.izzymcrae.com. Neville Sattentau produced the beautiful artwork. His website is www.nevart.co.uk.

## Gratitude Garden Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Great app!"
It really helps to remind me about the good things happened during the day, plus it makes me smile when I receive the notifications (you can decide if you want them) showing previous good things happened :) highly recommend.

PS I am having some troubles seeing the downloaded Sky garden and hope this can be possibly fixed.

### ****- "Beautiful app"
Super helpful to have this- the visuals of the garden are great, really helped motivate me to make sure I wrote each day! Only would be SO much better if there were more gardens added as there’s currently only the one which gets filled fairly quickly.
Really lovely idea I’m glad I found it and often recommend to others!
-- mbuck100, 2018-07-16

### ****- "Good but could be better"
This is a great app, and it does make you feel better, remembering what good things have happened, no matter how small. However, it is a shame you can only go so far before having to start again. I'd love to see more gardens added rather having to re-download.

Overall though for a free app, it's great and I would highly recommend.

### ***-- "Bug needs sorting"
Lovely app, however I can no longer access the diary? Also very limiting as when you get to the end you have to start again from scratch which is kind of boring. The issue with having to write each day before midnight also needs addressing.
-- akwamarina, 2017-03-31

### ***-- "Love it but..."
This is such a lovely app but it's so annoying that you have to record your entries by 23.59 or automatically get bumped to the following day! That means you get out of sync after 1 late night.... Would be so much better if you could override this! Otherwise it's a great idea!

### ***** "Beautiful"
Beautifully designed app. Very thoughtful.
-- Mr Toast2046, 2016-06-04

### ***** "Really beautiful"
This is a beautiful app, I get low a lot of the time and this makes me feel 10x better! 🌍☮
-- Archie Currie, 2016-05-29

### ***** "So beautiful!"
This is a gorgeous app with mystical intriguing pages and fun quotes if you fill in three reasons for gratitude. Lovely to have an incentive to remember the best things of the day. Thank you!
-- Grateful gran, 2016-05-28

### ***** "Lovely graphics."
Very inspiring.
-- RobbieBurns, 2016-05-28

### ***** "-"
This is a lovely app. Writing down each day what has made you happy is one of the best known ways to reinforce positive thoughts and banish depression. This app makes it easy to get into good habits by rewarding you with a 'gratitude garden' and thought provoking quotations. The best app of its kind.
