OVERVIEW
This clear colourful and high quality map covers the whole of the Greater London area down to street level. The familiar look of this map makes it by far the easiest London map to use. The map is drawn by real cartographers with the detailed care and human touch of emphasis that A-Z are famous for.

The map covers 3743 sq km (1445 sq miles) of London down to street level, the same area as the printed version of the Master Atlas of Greater London and extends beyond the Greater London and M25 area to Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Potters Bar, Waltham Cross, Epping, Brentwood, Thurrock, Stanford-le-Hope, Gravesend, Wrotham, Sevenoaks, Westerham, Oxted, Redhill, Reigate, Leatherhead, Great Bookham, Woking, Egham, Windsor, Slough, Chalfont Street Peter, Chorleywood and Bovingdon.

The map index contains over 300,000 entries with nearly 100,000 streets, over 200,000 postcodes, plus thousands of places of interest, hospitals and rail stations. All can be located on this high quality map within a few seconds using the search feature or by browsing the index. The search now reaches out to the internet for additional selections when an internet connection is available.

The map installs completely on the device so that it is available instantly anywhere and with no internet connection..

ANNOTATING THE MAP
You can now add places of interest, routes and areas to the map. This is a very simple yet powerful feature that allows the user to quickly and easily customise their map. This is also a great benefit to anyone planning routes as it instantly displays the distance for the complete route. These annotations can be stored and retrieved instantly on the device.

GPS
You can use your device’s inbuilt location services to show your current location on the map or follow your movements as you travel.

Add this map to one of our “Zuti” route planner maps and you are well equipped to travel anywhere in the Greater London area.

## Greater London A Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Map fiend"
An excellent map which, at time of writing, is now 4 years old and, as a minor gripe, is probably due an update. Unlike some others complaining that a station that opened 3 years ago (open for several years is a plain lie) isn’t shown is hardly surprising.
Being able to draft routes and follow your progress via GPS are excellent features. Note that this is just the “normal” A to Z. The larger scale Central London is a different app.
Overall this is an excellent app and, if you are used to the paper A to Z, a gift from the deities. It is far more useful than either Google or Apple maps.
-- Ghgfftyhbbuyggvv, 2024-11-26

### ***-- "OK but…."
The A-Z is the clearest online London map I’ve found.
But mine is now in need of an update. For instance, it doesn’t show Nine Elms station, which has been open for several years.
I have searched in vain for a way to simply update the map.
-- Gjkghoj, 2024-06-08

### ****- "please update"
a-z is the only London map that isn’t rubbish. I know google has eaten your lunch. Such a shame you can’t sell your beautiful format to them. Good Luck
-- Squixo, 2024-04-21

### ***** "A-Z map"
Just what I needed. Allows you to zone portions of the map. Ok it needs an update, but it works for me. I just love being able to zoom in and out and you can also view in google maps. Brilliant
-- Naturalbornboy, 2024-03-15

### *---- "Is there any prospect of this ever being updated?"
Map is 3 years out of date despite a newer map being made available by the cartographers

UI still basic - too many clicks to ‘locate me’.
-- allthenicknamesarewelltaken, 2023-01-17

### ****- "City large scale missing"
Great to see the original London map as an app. But where is the larger scale City map that accompanied the paper version? Zooming in would be the ideal time to introduce this. I wonder if Collins are dedicating the cartographic love needed to maintain and update this design classic that helped shape Londoners’ mental map of the city? Or if they will let it wither away?
-- unique987987, 2022-02-01

### **--- "Desperate for a update"
With the state of London roads LTN’s new no entry’s A update is needed
-- Rollo2804, 2021-10-16

### *---- "Update needed"
This map needed urgent update because of so many changes in london. Without update it’s useless and waste of money.
-- b2kengland, 2021-01-23

### *---- "Not great"
Can’t even open the app without it crashing and closing. No useful contacts for tech support - waste of money.
-- Appy fella, 2020-12-20

### ***-- "Update needed"
On the whole the app is good but with all the changes to roads in London, it needs a massive update
-- JAAS98, 2020-06-21
