Despite paying not to hear adverts, this keeps happening. I have reported it multiple times and the only resolution is to delete the app and reinstall it. In comparison with the Radio 2 and 5 apps, which maintain strong connectivity this app is much less stable. There is also no way to pause and rewind live shows nor download them afterwards. It is frustrating as my preference would be to stick to Greatest Hits but if it doesn’t up its game I will go elsewhere.

Not too bad to start with but since the new Rayo app which I log in and don’t get my premium account and I have to use this app again and now every time I open the app I get a 30 second video app just to play the radio. After leaving this review I’m cancelling my premium subscription and deleting the app and going back to BBC sounds which I have absolutely no problem using and more importantly NO ADS

Will not allow me to access list of drop off points for gift for kids, plus also had to agree to all to even access where the list might be and am now getting adverts. Not right as I pay £3.99 to listen per month. It should be on opening page. May cancel subscription due to this.

I feel that Ken Bruce’s & Simon Mayo’s former station has pushed out listeners like myself and people with good music taste.
GHR fills the gaps that the BBC won’t.. only criticism is a bit repetitive on some of the music across the daily programs & slightly lacking specialist shows ( ie , sound of the 60s or 70s or blues ) If only Tony Blackburn would jump ship and join this station as well. All said, loving Pop Master…

You cannot get the main GHR station to play easily in CarPlay without a lot of unnecessary faffing. 
Have to start it on iPhone app which negates the point of CarPlay. 

CarPlay has been broken for many, many months….the ‘add on’ stations all work but there is a lot of effort required to get the main channel to play, mostly down to the regional offerings being buried in a sub menu under the main channel name. 

I now get Alexa to play GHR in the car advert feee as this app is a pointless waste of space. 

Oh, and don’t think it gets better if you download the RAYO app instead….that is even worse than this steaming pile.
