## Green Mountain Grills Description
Bring your Green Mountain Grill into the 21st century with our grill management app. This app utilizes WiFi technology and has a range of up to 40 meters in point to point mode. You also have the ability to connect your grill to your home network in WiFi Mode and to our cloud based system in server mode. You can create grill profiles, monitor meat temps, set timers and alarms, and adjust grill temps from inside your home or anywhere. We have recently added calibration tools to calibrate both air temperature and probe temperatures. Stay tuned for updates and additional features on future releases.

For best results use Firmware 6.7 or later. To check your firmware, use our support page:

---------------------

The first ever internet connected BBQ is here! We have officially launched Server Mode for the WiFi enabled line of Green Mountain Grills. Connect your Davy Crockett, Daniel Boone and/or Jim Bowie pellet grill to our servers to control/monitor your grill from a cellular network.

Your firmware must be at least 6.0+ in order to use server mode.

Need Help connecting to Server mode?

---------------------

*Note: Requires updated WIFI controller for use with grills built before 8/1/14

## Green Mountain Grills Reviews in United States

### **--- "Needs improvement"
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. When you are out of pellets you can’t do anything cause the warning pops up every second. I don’t get notifications unless im in the app and i have my notifications on. Whats the point of having an app if it doesn’t tell me when the smoker is to temp or if the meat is up to temp. Im not going to keep the app open the whole time. Although it is nice to start it in the house and remotely observe it, it need a huge improvement. Also the remote option doesn’t work unless you keep the app open. Fix these and ill give five starts.
-- garettwj, 2025-04-12

### *---- "Horrible App"
Lacks many modern features that the newer smokers have.
-- Whnunlife, 2024-12-11

### *---- "Works on android"
Will not connect in iOS
-- Tsmada1, 2024-11-28

### *---- "Looks bad, performs bad"
Horribly outdated UI and is constantly disconnecting and out of sync.
-- Jayjayjay123, 2024-11-17

### **--- "Working great until latest update"
Been working great.. then I started to notice that i no longer receive notifications in server mode. Kind of defeats the purpose of the app. I have updated to latest firmware, i have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, done board reset, and reconnected everything, then back into server mode and get nothing. No notifications…..
-- Tina.Marie, 2024-09-08

### **--- "Bluetooth"
I spent quite a bit of time with tech-support today. We finally came to the conclusion that there’s something wrong with the Bluetooth libraries in iOS. We managed to get an android to connect using the prime app.
Please send out an update to correct this
-- Dfhhfghbdhggh, 2024-09-05

### *---- "Notifications gone!"
Yes, I have my iOS set up correctly, I’ve restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the app. Still no notifications. One year since an app update??!!
-- Motor 64, 2024-07-17

### **--- "No good"
Probably one of the worst apps I’ve ever dealt with. Just super glitchy don’t know what else to say. Very frustrating. When it works once in a blue moon, it is neat. That’s why I gave two stars. Otherwise I probably would’ve given it one.
-- kittitas, 2024-06-05

### *---- "Fake reviews, Crappy app"
So many issues with this app, that’s my first problem… But the fact GMG added fake reviews to boost their star rating is disgusting! That should be illegal, they’ve lost a customer over it! What a joke! I can look past issues if you have integrity! I can’t look past lying and deceitfulness!
-- ojodeltigre81, 2024-03-17

### **--- "Continued connectivity issues"
I’ve had this grill for 3-4 years now and I must say, it smokes fantastic, but the connectivity is the worst. I was hoping the new app would fix this, but it doesn’t. I can never stay connected anymore. You guys need to come up with a fix for this or just quit selling grills with connectivity.
