We think where a person likes to hang out says a lot about them. And we think people need to spend less time on dating apps — and more time going out on dates at places they love or want to try. That’s why Grid matches people based on which restaurant, bar, coffee shop, etc. they’d like to go to. So once you find a match, you know you’re going out somewhere cool — with someone who’s not a couch potato.
HOW IT WORKS
1: Choose a place.
Whether it’s drinks, food, coffee, or somewhere else, it’s up to you where you want your first date to be. Using a map, list or search function, select place(s) where you’d want to meet someone.
2: Find a date.
See people who only want to go to the same places as you. Then swipe right on who you’re into (you know the drill).
3: Then go.
Just plan with your match when the date is happening by sending a date request. And of course you’ll have the option to chat on the app, but we suggest you save the small talk for IRL.
FREE TO USE
When it comes to building new relationships, you shouldn’t have to pay. So we don’t charge users to use the full functionality of the app—it’s all there for you to enjoy.

Great App
Such a refreshing experience compared to other apps I’ve used. Every other dating app i’ve been on is just a copy paste of some other platform with different colors. Venue based dating made using an app exciting again.

Not user friendly
Very confusing, you can’t see all of the matches for each place. They show you one at a time and you can only see a report or block option at the bottom of their pictures. Not a fan
