GD Classic has become my perfect everyday diary app so I was very disappointed when a bug stopped it opening after the most recent update. This coincided with the launch of Grid Diary 2. (I have looked at GD2 but Classic suits me better, sometimes simplicity is all you need.) Despite all this, when I contacted the developer, he responded immediately and kept me informed while the bug was fixed which it has been. Thank you (and 5 stars) to the developers for their courtesy and helpfulness. 18.3.20 just an update about this extremely useful app that I’m still using all these months later. It is just right for what I want. I can customise it if my needs change. My only concern is that it might not be updated and I would lose the app and everything in it if the developers’ focus is only on Grid Diary 2. The Grid Diary Classic is so good, I cannot think of anything I would want to add to it or change about it. During this time, I was distressed to note that whilst using Safari the page would be taken over by a malware pop-up. I tried lots of things to remove this, including deleting cookies and restarting my iPhone. I then read an article about how some apps can have malware installed by accident, because it is actually very hard to infect an iPhone. Since deleting this app, I have not had the issue again. You can write your own prompts in the grids or use the stock ones. You can have as many or as few grids per day as you like (I have 16). You can add up to 9 photos per grid.
