GRIDWATCH HELPS MAKE ONTARIO'S ELECTRICITY GRID VISIBLE. //Hourly Power & Demand Track Ontario’s electricity grid hour-by-hour and plant-by-plant using the most current, trustworthy data. Gridwatch breaks out the total generation by fuel type with an option to drill down further for hourly capability and output figures for each power plant. Gridwatch also tracks hourly imports, exports and Ontario's Provincial demand. //Total Emissions & Intensity See the total carbon emissions and carbon intensity of Ontario's electricity grid. Drill down into the equivalent emissions in terms of cars and trees to put things in context. Backed by a peer reviewed and published methodology, carbon intensity is a simple indication of how clean (or dirty) the grid is. //Power Plant Details Gridwatch not only breaks down total generation by fuel type but also by individual power plant. Each plant's capability and actual contribution a listed for every hour. Want to know more about a specific plant? Location, owner/operator and a specific knowledge nugget is provided for each facility. //Maps & Trends View all power plant locations colour coded by fuel type on an interactive map of Ontario. Filter by fuel type, zoom in/out and tap for details about the specific plant. Track both power and emissions trends for the current day along with Ontario's Time-Of-Use schedule. Interact with the trend graphs to see the impact each fuel type has on the grid. A note to our users outside of Ontario: Gridwatch only tracks the Province of Ontario's electricity grid and does so in Eastern Time. ## Gridwatch (Ontario Edition) Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple118/v4/2f/de/c7/2fdec777-c859-2459-3c26-c318a75b25b9/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple128/v4/d4/f0/d0/d4f0d0e8-6686-d4d9-28a3-9c1b91b3135c/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple118/v4/1e/71/40/1e714021-fd84-7511-2bf7-be6bb519a91c/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple118/v4/e1/98/8f/e1988fd9-86bc-0c99-ed67-184ce68fd6f9/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple128/v4/da/f2/3c/daf23c59-23e9-eb6c-0ad1-c3233db41b90/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple118/v4/91/8c/4d/918c4dc0-8ac6-f2cb-6399-17a9987636e8/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple128/v4/11/36/1a/11361aec-efaf-7e36-2804-6b2c1c941c6d/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple128/v4/2c/01/d4/2c01d4fd-50c8-37ba-f7d8-b0c662394b06/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple118/v4/1e/45/34/1e453412-aaab-5119-f1ae-fbcb1f899fff/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) ## Gridwatch (Ontario Edition) Rating Breakdown in Canada - 5 stars: 401 (91%) - 4 stars: 33 (8%) - 3 stars: 1 (0%) - 2 stars: 1 (0%) - 1 stars: 3 (1%) ## Gridwatch (Ontario Edition) Reviews in Canada ### ***** "Great app" Love the insight -- Caleb Waterloo, 2024-09-03 ### ***** "Great app" Would love to see a widget added in a future release -- Derek Sciuk, 2024-07-03 ### ****- "Well put together." The only thing I would like is the ability to search historical data by date. -- Larry 1492, 2024-05-11 ### ***** "Very informative" I just enjoy seeing how much power is used at different times on different days in different seasons, and how it is being produced. -- Cropper_Matt, 2024-03-17 ### ***** "Concise Detail" Concisely provides information of the ongoing, daily status of the Ontario electricity status. -- Spud#, 2023-08-10 ### ***** "Stop all the fake opinions" This is real, factual, straight forward information. Wish there was more info like this. Number of new homes completed each day. Or amount of money spent by each level of government daily. Or the wait times for a vaiety of surgeries in different hospitals in ontario. -- wbl1951, 2023-06-01 ### ***** "Nice overview of how the power grid works!" Im so happy I stubbled upon this app! I love the detail of where our power is coming and every location of the sources in Ontario. Doesn’t seem to have an update for the last 3 years but hope to get an option to see a history of the power usage for the day or week instead of just the past hour! -- Pecan Pie , 2021-12-17 ### ***** "Insightful information" This app gives you a real time visualization of electrical generation in Ontario’s grid. It does this very well. My wish list item would be to get longer term views of the same information. -- GoEVsGo, 2021-12-13 ### ***** "Ontario energy production app" Really insightful as to what’s going on in real time with our energy production. Has caused me to re-evaluate actual value of very inconsistent solar production. -- Keith W Lawson, 2021-12-07 ### ***** "Great app with good detail, only for Ontario however." Better than Electricity Map as it shows individual station output. -- ThomasCheney, 2021-04-02 [View all Gridwatch (Ontario Edition) reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Gridwatch (Ontario Edition) Available In - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/gridwatch-ontario-edition-Ovc/canada) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/gridwatch-ontario-edition-Ovc/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
