Greek by Nemo

The male voice is depressing, I’m going to delete the app. Sorry as it doesn’t cost anything but need more umph! Difficult enough to learn Greek but now I realise why I haven’t used it for months

I want the Greek version to use a young, female voice for the Greek parts. Instead, it's an old-man voice.

Such a good app, it might not be a looker but it just works so well and is so nice to learn from ❤️💛❤️💛

Used this app for 2 months before heading to Rhodes on holiday. Came in really handy when my 3 year old daughter needed the toilet and we lost my sister in law.

I am doing ok I suppose when I use this site but due to illness I don’t always feel up to it but it is a good programme. Sadly notifications come up but because it is in Greek I don’t understand and can’t read the notifications. It’s all Greek to me !

Used it regularly in Greece and locals thought it accurate and well spoken Athenian Greek

Great concept but quickly expected to upgrade

Out here in Crete as I write this review … I can say that I have had fun as the app is so user friendly .. I have been able to learn words quickly and grasp a little understanding in a very short time. I was using the light version but after I saw it’s potential, I made the full purchase which in my view was so cheap (£9.99) for what you actually receive. As many reviews on here say ‘you have to put the work in to get results’, I agree, but it is great fun in the process. I have given the app 5* and have also downloaded Nemo German for the future … however, one language at a time … Well done to the developers… Yammas 🇬🇷

I really like this app. It’s been really helpful in helping me learn. I particularly like the fact that I can create a favourites list of words to focus on and add to it as it I go. But.. I have the purchased version which provides 1408 words. That’s loads.. but for learning conversation this app could be so much better. - The tiles can show the gender of the words but it will show “m” or “f” or “n” when it could say “ο,” “η” or “το” (or their variants). This could be done without adding speech. Just replace what’s there with the correct gender preposition. - verbs are not shown in all forms and tenses. - some useful conversational words aren’t included and there’s no way to add them. I would buy add on packs if it helped me. I’m learning with a teacher now and I use this alongside. I went for a teacher as this didn’t do enough on the conversational stuff. Come on Nemo.. Add some more words in and conversational stuff.
