## Grim Quest Description
Grim Quest blends tabletop RPG vibes, familiar dungeon crawling and roguelike mechanics, and a classic turn-based combat system into an accessible and entertaining package. Because of its attention to written storytelling, detailed worldbuilding and abundance of lore, Grim Quest can be similar to a solo Dungeons and Dragons campaign, or even a choose your own adventure book.

Grim Quest is a single player game and can be played offline. It has no lootboxes, energy bars, overpriced cosmetics, content locked behind endless microtransactions, or other modern monetization schemes. Just some unobtrusive ads, permanently removable with a one-time purchase, and completely optional goodies for those who wish to support the game and its development even further.

I don’t write many reviews but this is such a good game, I felt I had to! It’s such a simple concept that really goes back to old school RPGs from decades ago & does it so well. Well written, well executed with no padding or filler to detract from the gameplay, which is great. It doesn’t oversimplify the way you progress nor make it unnecessarily complex; just a great balance. You can also play for an hour or just a quick 5 minute blast in a dungeon. The interface is great, very nice graphics for backgrounds & the whole thing is superb. I wish I’d got this earlier!

I can’t fault it. It feels like I’m playing a solo tabletop RPG the combat is punishing enough to make you try but also your character develops at a decent pace to allow you to progress. There are plenty of events and buckets of lore to please the geek in me. 
The free side is very, very generous and you’ll have absolutely made your mind up by the end on if you want to buy.

Lots of detail in lore and quite a few systems to maintain while playing which keeps the game interesting and adds a level of base management as well as trying to keep your character alive on quests.
