Grim Quest tries to blend tabletop RPG vibes, familiar dungeon crawling and roguelike mechanics, and a classic turn-based combat system into an accessible and entertaining package. Because of its attention to written storytelling, detailed worldbuilding and abundance of lore, Grim Quest can be similar to a solo Dungeons and Dragons campaign, or even a choose your own adventure book.

Grim Quest is a single player game and can be played offline. It has no lootboxes, energy bars, overpriced cosmetics, content locked behind endless microtransactions, or other modern monetization schemes. Just a one-time purchase for the full game, and completely optional goodies for those who wish to support the game and its development.

Hidden Gem

It’s a relatively simplistic tabletop style dungeon crawler. The free demo offers a long enough trial for you to decide if you’re going to like the gameplay enough before buying the full version.

Great little game.

Got this today and I’m loving it so far. Haven’t been able to get a game together with friends for a while and this little gem scratches an itch. Simple and charming, I upgraded to the full version after twenty mins. Looking forward to playing more.

Perfect mobile RPG with tabletop elements

I can’t fault it. It feels like I’m playing a solo tabletop RPG the combat is punishing enough to make you try but also your character develops at a decent pace to allow you to progress. There are plenty of events and buckets of lore to please the geek in me. The free side is very, very generous and you’ll have absolutely made your mind up by the end on if you want to buy.

Lots to like here with a classic rogue like dungeon crawl. Decent quests and planning for fights

Great so far

Been playing for a few days and I am hooked. Lots of detail in lore and quite a few systems to maintain while playing which keeps the game interesting and adds a level of base management as well as trying to keep your character alive on quests. Few different difficulty options as well that range from “intended” to world of pain. All round really fun so far!

Fun if slitly repetitive

Good fun but gets quite repetitive after a while as you are just going back and forth and back again.
