Gripped is a personal taste platform built around three things: a living profile of what you actually love, a smarter way to figure out what to watch next, and a social layer for finding common ground with friends, partners, and the people you share screens with. — BUILD YOUR TASTE PROFILE — Rate the films and shows you've watched as Loved, Liked, or Disliked. Gripped builds a living profile from your ratings — your favorite genres, your tonal preferences, the kind of pacing that lands for you, and the kind that doesn't. The more you rate, the sharper your profile becomes. It's a record of your real taste, made by you, owned by you. — GET PERSONAL READS — Tap any title and ask "Will I Like This?" Gripped gives you an instant personalized read, anchored to something you've already rated. Not a generic score. Not a percentage. A real read written for you, based on your actual taste history. — DISCOVER WHAT TO WATCH — Browse personalized recommendations built from your taste profile. Find titles in the same lane as what you've already loved. Skip the trending lists, the algorithmic guesses, and the endless scroll. — BUILD YOUR WATCHLIST — Save titles you want to see later. Your watchlist is yours — clean, organized, and built around what actually fits your taste. — FIND YOUR PEOPLE — Discover other users who share your taste. Follow friends and see what they're rating, what they're watching, and what they've added to their lists. The best recommendations come from people who actually know your taste — including yourself. — SHARED TASTE FOR COUPLES AND FRIENDS — Build a shared taste profile with a partner, a friend, or a group. Plan watch nights where everyone's preferences are considered. Find what works for everyone in the room without the 30-minute "what should we watch" debate. — WATCH PARTIES — Create or join Watch Parties — group sessions where members rate titles together, build shared watchlists, and find consensus on what to watch next. Great for movie nights, long-distance friends, or just two people on a couch. — YOUR PROFILE, YOUR FRIENDS, YOUR PRIVACY — Your taste profile is yours. Your ratings, watchlist, and seen list are private by default. Choose what to share, with whom, and when. We don't sell your data. We don't share your ratings with advertisers. Friends connect only when both sides accept. — WHO GRIPPED IS FOR — People who care about what they watch. Anyone tired of generic "97% match" scores that mean nothing. Couples who want to stop fighting about what to watch. Friend groups who plan movie nights and want everyone's voice in the pick. Anyone building a personal record of what they've watched and what they thought of it. Stop scrolling streaming services for an hour every night. Build your taste profile once. Let it work for you — and the people you watch with — forever. ## Gripped Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/91/91/fa/9191fa3b-505a-c67f-0813-ac514a7e22a5/1.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/a3/06/37/a30637ea-a0ec-cc82-bedb-35c6f05521e2/2.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/bb/bc/17/bbbc1726-4cfc-bcdf-e8d0-fc1be91e7872/3.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/66/e4/37/66e43700-100e-7341-632e-cfa88868e5bc/4.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/93/51/87/935187ab-5d18-7d16-3682-caa257e997af/5.png/1284x2778.png) ## Apps Similar to Gripped - [Asian Dating & Meet : Mingler](https://apptail.io/app/asian-dating-meet-mingler-WLo/australia) - [Scotiabank Arena](https://apptail.io/app/scotiabank-arena-uEzf/australia) - [DogTok](https://apptail.io/app/dogtok-vmlp/australia) - [TD Coliseum](https://apptail.io/app/td-coliseum-wtjx/australia) ## Gripped Available In - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/gripped-lzrA/australia) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/gripped-lzrA/brazil) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/gripped-lzrA/algeria) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/gripped-lzrA/kazakhstan) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/gripped-lzrA/philippines) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
