It was a literal asset so it pains me to write this review but as of late, my funds are locked in the app. When I try to withdraw them, it says that my account is locked for “reason unknown”. NO ONE will answer the support line and I’ve been trying for three weeks. Emails have been sent and voicemails have been left. Nothing. Concerned for my bank accounts safety, I’ve tried to delete my information from the app and it will not remove my bank info. Their customer support is trash. This app is wild, y’all. I’ve been on it about three years and it does exactly what I want it to do—but only if you’re willing to deal with its quirks. Transfers? They say three days. Nope. It’s five. Always five. Customer service is basically one guy’s voicemail inbox. No team, no ticket system, just “Voicemail Dude.” Half the time his inbox is full, so good luck. Emails? It’s about 60/40 you’ll hear back… eventually. Latest fiasco: they rolled out a required update with an August 30 deadline. Said they’d send an email with instructions. I never got one. Called the hotline—voicemail full (shocker). Sent an email—been three days, still nothing. Thankfully, I went ahead and transferred my money out before the deadline, because I don’t play when it comes to funds. Now, if you’re like me and willing to babysit small withdrawals, double-check every transfer, and not expect hand-holding, the app does work. I like being able to change the transaction percentage any time things get too wild, and I usually cash out once I hit $500. Bottom line: Guac is like that one flaky friend who drives you nuts but somehow you keep around.
