## Guard7-Lite Description

This is the iOS version of Guard7. Guard7 is a general purpose cryptography tool that can be used to encrypt, decrypt email and file, sign and verify files. It is the graphical frontend for the GNU Privacy Guard (GnuPG or GPG,  with additional features. Guard7 is an encryption and decryption system based on industry standard that can ensure the complete security of business negotiations or personal messages. It was developed to make the daily work with GnuPG simple and efficient.


Why

The most difference between "public key cryptography" and normal "password protected cryptography" is that the first approach don't ask you to distribute any password to anyone or any unsafe place, e.g. email, chat app, or internet. And, you need an encryption tool that has industrial strength to protect your confidential information.

Organise contacts in groups, then fast and efficiently organise dozens of recipients to send and receive file or email without setup recipients one by one and answer a bunch of boring questions and input repeat info again and again. Encrypt and decrypt a file just requires several taps, it's very simple, convenient and efficient.

### **--- "Needs work"
This app doesn’t have an easy way to import public keys. It comes with instructions, but the instructions do not match the interface. It is not ready for the average user. I am very familiar with using GNU Privacy Guard from a command line in Windows or Linux, so I know what functionality to expect from Guard7. And, Guard7 doesn’t have a way to import files. If it does have such a way, it is not easy to find. Keep developing some more so that it can import and export both public and private keys.
