If the order tracking is unreliable, yuu points crediting has issues, and customer service only sends template replies without understanding, then this app is not worth the trouble. Can tell the team behind this app is amateur.. like why are you pushing to release an app that instead of bringing convenience, bring frustration? Discounts applied at cart is so lazy and unclear. I mean, just go to ANY shopping app, when there’s a discount for BOGO or mix and match, discount is applied directly PER LINE and also tells what kind of discount is applied.. what you all are doing instead is just lump everything possible at the end. Maybe just go learn from FairPrice app, it’s the most basic and clear cut. Photos provided can’t zoom. For products guardian sell, most buyers need to look at the active ingredients.. what’s the use of providing photos front and back when can’t even zoom? In the end still have to go google and search. Also, the app is very laggy. It lags especially when they trigger notification that the product qty cannot be added anymore. Instead of disabling the “+” they just trigger the notification.. and because the reaction is sooooooo slow, it lags. For now, I’m just using it to browse products. Rather than confusing myself with a cart full of items and don’t know where I’m saving at, I’d rather use the time to walk to the physical store. And who knows your competitor shop W have better discount. Wake up Guardian, if you want to lock customers to your app to purchase products your competitor have, then make sure they don’t feel so irritated and walk to physical shop, cos every shopping mall where your have an outlet, W has one too. You did not do your user flow, information architecture and most importantly YOUR UX RESEARCH. It’s clear you did not conduct any usability testing at all. Guardian app is just using the vouchers to entice people for use this app. But you will lose to competitor like Shopee instead because of TERRIBLE user usability in this app. Is either your UXUI designer is sleeping on the job or you just hired a horrible one that gaslighted you into thinking this is a good design. It’s NOT. I could lecture all the pain points here as a UXUI designer AND as a customer. Redo your entire app and redo your research before you launch it. Waiting for further improvements. The items prices upon checking out are pretty confusing as well. They do not state clearly the final amount for each item if they are already discounted, esp those $1 app exclusive ones are still showing the original prices. They just lumped all the “promotion received” prices altogether. I can’t seem to tally up the figures. The flyer says there’s no minimum spend, but that’s not true. After you sign up and enter all your information, the subtotal must be at least $20 — otherwise, you’ll be charged a $5 delivery fee, even if you choose self-collection in-store. You’re also required to enter both your billing and shipping address before you can apply the $8 discount voucher code. The staff don’t inform you about this beforehand. The app’s responsiveness really needs improvement, it’s laggy and often unresponsive, requiring multiple taps before anything happens. Items I found easily on the website don’t appear in the app, and even the search bar fails to return results for common terms like "calcium." It defeats the purpose of having an app if it's this slow and inefficient.
