It's vertically fixed and that's annoying. Also, traditionally, the old mastermind/guess the color games allowed multiple pegs of one color. It was more challenging that way. Still, pretty fun and I like being able to leave blanks. Options to add letters to colors, choose blanks or not, repeats or not, and 3 levels of play. And you don't have to worry about "partner" scoring incorrectly!!! A big bonus imho. Plus it's free! If you like mastermind you should REALLY like this game. No time constraints, don't have to rush. Take all the time you want to solve in the fewest moves possible (besides blind luck). Ok, so you can't do the dishes while you wait for the other person to take their turn. And share conversation.
