It’s an awesome app and free but if you want to learn songs and if your a beginner you only get a couple of basic lessons but overall it’s an awesome app if you want to catch up on guitar or if you want to start guitar for example I just started today and learned 2 chords and 2 Melodie’s
Just started. I already play the guitar, self taught. Im a completionist person and like to see all lessons without skipping, but the app dont have the option to speed up to 1.5 or 2x so I can quickly scroll through the lesson and watch pieces that I would be more interested in. Would be a cool feature just like slowing down that is already existing in the app to see in details something being explained. Editing my review to 5 stars. This is an awesome tool for every level. Loving it.

Can barely rewind which makes it take forever and also service just horrible for this app never loads anything
I have reached through all the internet for a good app that can teach me guitar. I was a complete beginner!! But when I start things I like to do them well (especially if I’ll pay for it). I did a deep research on the apps that teach guitar, like Yousician and Simple Guitar, and believe me, this is the best one that you can invest on! I’ve been using this app for a couple of months, and even though I haven’t been as persistent, I can definitely see so much improvement! Imagine if you go serious about it with this app! They go slow pace, they really take in count that you are a beginner. They have different levels (if you are more advanced). They have a ton of classes of every type of guitar that you may have. Also they have full tutorials on songs and other cool tricks. If you want to get serious with the guitar and learn every detail (and not just know how to play it) this is the app for you. And if you also are looking to just know how to play songs, this is the app for you. I truly recommended! Amazing professors! And the price is accesible. Right now I’m paying 10$ / month
Look at the price of the subscription, seriously way overpriced. Next.
I could not find a way to access anything without upgrading to full access. It looks like a good app, but I want to try before I buy. Bye.
Do not get this app it is absolutely impossible to cancel no matter what site they lead you to you can’t cancel this it’s a brown if you call customer service don’t do it run away from this app
I love the structure and everything about the learning process with Guitar Tricks but the only reason I don’t give this a five star rating is because I’ve had this app over a year and a half and they still haven’t fixed the bugs. Not all the time but often I’ll click on a lesson and it will bring up a different lesson than I clicked on or a lesson not even in the category I’m in. For example in the beginners tab in the practice tip section I’ll click on the left handed playing lesson and it will pop up a lesson from the Funk genre. If the developers see this please fix this. You will gain a five star rating if you do because right now the computer version is more reliable than the mobile app.
I’m an intermediate player lesson are either to simple and boring or to fast with little explanation the tab graphics on screen are helpful but not used in advanced lessons for some reason extended jam tracks would be great paid for a year and will use it but probably won’t renew
