The Guitar Pro application allows all musicians to view and play sheet music and tablature created with the famous Guitar Pro tab-editing program for Windows and Mac.

This mobile version is the ideal companion for you to practice your favorite songs and share them any time, anywhere! Coming up with some arpeggio, a riff, a chord sequence? You can now note and save it all on the single-track tablature NotePad.

FAQ:

Q: Can I create or edit sheet music with this app?
A: Unlike Guitar Pro for Windows and Mac, this app does not let you change the notation in an existing Guitar Pro file, or create sheet music in standard notation. It is however possible to edit a single-track tablature with the NotePad tool and export your work into .gpx and .gp formats to finish your composition in Guitar Pro 6 or 7. Editing a drum track is not available with the NotePad tool.

These criminals don’t mention that each tab costs money, slipped their minds when advertising the app. Special place in hell for people like these

Corrupted file??

Just downloaded the app... Almost every tab I try to download it says ”corrupted file”. Where can I get my 7€ back?

Waste of money for GP7 users

Just bought GP7 for 75€ and now this 7€ waste. It can't open the new .gp format and won't even give you the option to open in app unless the extension is changed to .gpx only to get an alert that "the file has been corrupt". Please, underline more that GP7 is NOT supported or have it fixed. For now using Tab Pro for all my 3rd party tabs. Thanks me for buying you a beer!

Toimii kun junan vessa

Tämän pc versiolla opettelin aikaan soittamaan. iPad versio on simppeli ja helppokäyttöinen. Itse lisään vanhat tab tiedostot selaimen kautta Dropboxista. Samaa kautta onnistuu uusienkin haku, jossei halua sotkea konetta tai iTunesia väliin.

Great app and maybe useful on the road, but unfortunately it was autotranslated to russian after download and I'm unable to find any settings, that could fix the problem.

Rahalle vastinetta

On melko suolainen hinta yksittäiselle sovellukselle tuo 7 euroa ja vähän pelottikin maksaa, mutta olen kyllä todella tyytyväinen ja mielestäni sovellus toimii niinkuin pitääkin. Pitkän aikaa yritin opetella kappaleita esim. netistä tabletilla, mutta ei siitä mitään tullut, kun vaatii aina jonkun maksullisen sovelluksen tms. ja kilpailevat sovellukset pyysivät kuukausimaksua yms. Kertalaakista kun maksoi tämän sovelluksen, niin sai heti kättelyssä mitä halusi. Plussana IOS7 sopiva ulkoasu. Kaikkien kitaristien pakko-ostos.

Great, but just one wish...

Otherwise great, but I really wish you could also see the chord names over bars also in solo guitar tabs. Would be easier to analyze how the notes in the solo relate to the chords being played under the solo!
