Stopped working
This app is another example why I hate “update”. It used to work well but suddenly it stopped working. I am not sure it’s due to the recent update or the new iOS.

CoachTuner is a FREE chromatic instrument tuner that allows you to quickly tune your guitar, bass and ukulele using the built-in mic of your iPhone/iPad/iPod. CoachTuner can tune acoustic or electric guitar, bass, ukulele. It's easy to use for beginners and it's Free.
*** How to use CoachTuner ? ***
The open strings of a guitar from the thickest to thinest are as follows:
E – the thickest or lowest sounding string is known as the 6th string
A – is the 5th
D – is the 4th
G – is the 3rd
B – is the 2nd
E – the thinest or highest is the 1st
1) First, play your low E string (6th string), the arrow must be in the middle and the text "E" and "OK" must be displayed
2) Play your low A string (5th string), the arrow must be in the middle and the text "A" and "OK" must be displayed
3) Play your low D string (4th string), the arrow must be in the middle and the text "D" and "OK" must be displayed
4) Play your low G string (3th string), the arrow must be in the middle and the text "G" and "OK" must be displayed
5) Play your low B string (2th string), the arrow must be in the middle and the text "B" and "OK" must be displayed
6) Play your high E string (1th string), the arrow must be in the middle and the text "E" and "OK" must be displayed
The mechanics of tuning a guitar are simple. To adjust the pitch of a string, turn the string’s corresponding tuning key on the head of the guitar.

Doesn’t work
This app used to work but as of now it hasn’t worked for over a year.
Amazing, but..
I love this tuning app, I always get the perfect tone when i use it, and also has a MASSIVE variety of other tunings. Although the one and ONLY problem i have with it, is that after one use, the microphone stops working and i have to re-download the app to keep using the tuner, and I use it a bit often. It is stressful to have to re download the app every time i want to tune my guitar again because the microphone doesn’t turn on.

i’ve been using it for a while, i play bass so i usually had to watch 2 adds to get to the bass tuner but recently it just stopped working.
Unannounced pay wall??
This went from being free to having adds to having to subscribe to use. Thats crazy.
It was the first time that I have ever seen a woman 👩 with a face that looked so stupid

Better tuners out there
Ive had multiple problems with the app being glitchy. There are also too many annoying ads and way better tuner apps out there overall.
I never leave reviews but man this app fell off.
The ads completely broke the app. No amount of closing the app, viewing the ads, reloading, or just waiting allow the app the work. It just stays frozen. It used to be great, what a waste.
Great app!
I started playing guitar 1 year ago, and have used this app for 1 year. I like this app because it is simpler to use than the clip on tuners that you can buy at a music store, and it takes way less time than the clips on ones. One thing I did want to point out was the app can not always tune accurate. Story time. I was going to a guitar lesson and tuned my guitar with this app before the lesson. While I was in the lesson my teacher had to twist the tuning pegs twice. It could have just been the car ride there, or the app, or me! Overall the app is really great!
