I wanted to start my year off right by reading my Bible so I simply wanted a guide to follow reading in 1 year. I click on what I thought would be an easy printable guide well of course this one wanted me to pay well I thought everyone wants to be paid so a small donation would be fine. Well this one had the audacity to have a tip section then in order to access what you just bought you have to download their app provide your email click all kinds of other stuff which makes you go throw other hoops to get you into their other services then you get sent all kinds of emails then you phone number.  No!  I simply wanted to read the scripture not an upsell. I would not recommend this app. Just do what I should have done or thought I was doing just simply google better or just pick up the Bible and read. Geez!!!

Having a good experience with Gumroad, however Gumroad stored my credit card without asking. Granted, apparently there is no law that states credit cards shouldn’t be stored without permission, however I personally do not like when websites do this. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars for Gumroad!

Firstly, this app is awesome. It allows me to watch my MDE content on an actual media player instead of a chrome browser. The downside is it doesn’t remember your place in a video, you have to remember it yourself and there is no watch history to remember what you’ve watched already. Needs a big update to fix this but besides that great job on bringing ol Sam to iOS.

App is unusable, it won’t accept my login after setting up an account. It is poorly formatted for my iPad, parts of the input boxes go off the screen and are un viewable. This even includes the captchas.  I’ll be using the Gumroad website.

Once you log in to your account you have about 1 minute before it reloads everything and suddenly the only thing you can view on the app is your library. Vs before log in where you can view who you follow, saved products tab (even though it’s empty before log in), etc. it’s like logging in locks the app to just the library or logout screen and that’s it. You can still view these things on the website but there’s no reason to lock the app down after log in but not before. I’ll change my review if they fix it. They should also allow to add in additional emails or individual purchases with receipts in case you purchased things with a different email address to link it all on one account. And no, that wouldn’t make it easier to share products, it would be easy to only allow each email to be loaded into one account, even if the account itself can have multiple email addresses. And it would also be easy to only a receipt code to be used once to add it to your library.
