When designing the Free Shot Timer we asked shooters of all types and experience levels what they wanted in a timer. We found that the most important features in a shot timer from the shooter’s perspective are ACCURACY and EASE OF OPERATION. The last thing people want to do at the range is mess around with their timer, but at the same time they want it to work.
With that in mind we engineered a shot timer app that has the precision of a high dollar stand-alone unit, with an incredibly user-friendly interface. But we didn’t stop there…

Adjustable Start Delay (0-4 seconds).
Random Start Delay (randomly starts the timer 2-5 seconds after the start button is pressed).
Adjustable Par Time (0-99.99 seconds).
Extra Loud Start Beep, designed to be heard through ear protection.

Save shot data to view later.
Email shot data.

Shots not being detected
On my iPhone X the app worked perfectly...now that I have switched phones to iPhone11pro the app doesn’t pick up the shots!

Doesn’t work
I have had this shot timer on a old iPhone 7 the app never picked up the shots. I now have it on a 14 pro max with access to microphone enabled still doesn’t work don’t wast your time with this app.
Can’t detect dry fire
Even with sensitivity at the max it can’t detect dry fire. Garbage app. Don’t waste your time.
Dry Fire Practice
I only use the app for dry fire practice of my draw time to first shot. I set a delay, par time and I’m good to go. At the range I use a dedicated timer. For what I want to do it’s perfect.
Not sensitive enough for 9mm
I couldn’t get this app to reliably record a 9mm from 2’ away! My 22lr from 18 inches didn’t trigger the timer once. Other apps are sensitive enough for my 22lr. Why can’t this one get it?
Doesn’t work
The audible beep is anemic and needs to be louder. It doesn’t catch all shots, honestly maybe 20% of shots fired are picked up.
