Its a fantastic iteration of Witcher's iconic card game, and with the balance council everything is amazing. I wish support for the game continued but marketing for Gwent has been pretty poor. Also MacOS Sonoma faces many clicking issues when it comes to the game, as well as some stuttering which I don't find on my phone, nor iPad.

After setting up an account (you have to have an account with GOG.com in order to play this game) the game loads a picture of the Witcher on horse back with Dandelion next to him, all looks promising. It then goes to a daily reward screen with some stupid barrel on it and that’s all you get on the iPad Pro! Game does not start just stays loading some stupid barrel reward I never asked for. Really shame as I do love this card game and would be happy to pay for a game that worked.

I was critical when I first got this. The first few days are easy then you hit rank 25 and boom, suddenly you are with actual people who can play a bit.

But it makes you get good. You have to learn how to combine cards and build a deck with a plan in mind.

If you are struggling for ideas just look online. Plenty of videos of the latest strong decks and handy links to the cards you need to build them.

Save scraps up and use them for building such decks.

As with any online game, some people you play can be not the best, but on the whole is a mature and decent experience. 

No it's not quite the same as the game. But it's better.
