## Gym Rest Timer Description
Tired of constantly unlocking your phone to restart your rest timer?

Gym Rest Timer is designed to minimise this and be as unobtrusive to your workout as possible, with 3 modes to choose from:

1. Notification mode - When your rest timer completes it sends you a notification which you can use to start the next one.

2. Media Player mode - Control and track your timer straight from the lock screen using the media player controls.

3. Volume Gesture mode - When listening to music just reach into your pocket or headphone remote and press volume down-up in quick succession. The app will detect this gesture and restart the timer.

Install the accompanying widget to your widget screen and access timer controls straight from your lock screen.

Use Siri to start a timer even from across the room!

## Gym Rest Timer Reviews in United States

### ***** "Exactly what I need"
Simple and exactly what I need
-- Kampfirez, 2026-01-07

### ***** "Exactly what I need"
Simple. Effective. It works. Best gym timer PERIOD.
-- AppleUser676534677, 2025-10-15

### ***** "It’s Perfect"
Simple, easy to use, straightforward, it’s perfect
-- 102$jemskwiwooIiwiqo, 2024-11-29

### ***** "What I've been dreaming for"
Literally the perfect app I've been dreaming for. Has a bunch of ways to start your Rest Timer like volume buttons, notifications, media player. Super simple and beautiful design, amazing. Just perfect.
-- Camrintrek, 2024-11-14

### **--- "Good, but not perfect"
The features don’t work on my iPad so I have to manually restart the timer.
-- H3nric, 2024-09-04

### ***** "Amazing functionality, lacks slight customization"
This timer is the ONLY one that fits my needs, a timer that can be turned on without turning on my phone. Helps me stay focused during my workouts, and for it being a free app is incredible.
The only nitpick I have is the alarm itself, it’d be nice to be able to change the sound, but other than that, 5 stars deserved
-- my dog is alberto, 2024-08-01

### ***** "Simple and effective"
Does the job really well. No extra features 10/10.
-- epicchetan, 2022-02-04

### ***** "Very efficient"
I use this app all the time in the gym, I set it to the volume button mode and I don’t even have to look at my phone to restart the timer! It’s nice and simple, easy to use and it’s perfect!
-- al3xx.official, 2021-08-13

### ***** "Essential for workouts"
This app has been an important productivity piece of my works out. I’m able to do more and focus more on my sessions using this timer.
