## Gymbox Reviews in United Kingdom

### ****- "Love"
Love the new app! It is much prettier and no problems so far! Please add a towel status though - I’ve been to the gym on two occasions now when there have been no towels avalable
-- Tomlez88, 2025-12-16

### *---- "It’s god awful"
This app is truly abysmal and if you have a multiaccess gym membership, it makes it damn impossible to make use of it. The classes are even harder to book than before. The layout is cluttered, unorganised and unintuitive. All the worse things that could be done to this app has happened. Who was the developer? Their team should be fired.
-- Adura2000, 2025-12-12

### *---- "The worst ‘upgrade’"
The new app is utterly useless, it’s far too busy with new features that aren’t even relevant. I can’t even switch between studios, booking a class has become the most complicated process and half of the features now aren’t even native in the app, you get taken to a website which is pointless. The old app worked perfectly, was a clean aesthetic and did the job that you needed, to enter the gym and book classes. Either someone has built this app with zero experience or Gymbox has been ripped off by an agency that told them this is what was needed. Just awful and it should be considered to revert back to the old one.
-- BK4578, 2025-12-12

### *---- "Very poor compared to before"
This update has made it much harder to use. It is very hard to see what time class you’re booked into. And gives loads of extra random info without ever explaining what it means. Feels like it was built without ever doing any research into what users need
-- Mills20Cat, 2025-12-11

### *---- "Downgrade"
- 74 hour booking time is confusing and easy to forget
- QR code for entry and exit(!) is annoying
- No Apple Wallet option
- Lots of scrolling to book classes

Overall worse than the previous app. Disappointed.
-- Tim tamothy, 2025-12-10

### *---- "Looks very confusing"
Old app works well not sure why you change it. Was simply and what we need. You add some extra pages but not change app. Also, you need to get good UI/UX who can fix this app as you probably didn’t test with users before lunch this app.
-- ericbula, 2025-12-07

### *---- "Worse version than previously"
The UX and UI is really poor. Difficult to navigate and clearly see. The booking times just don’t make sense - having to get up at 430am to book classes in three days time
-- Tiatiatia111, 2025-12-06

### *---- "Clunky, inconvenien, downgrade."
Opened the new app and instantly got lost. Trying to figure out how to view and book classes in different gyms was confusing.

Not really intuitive and feels over engineered. The old layout was much better
-- TBab!, 2025-12-05

### *---- "Pointless"
Previous app was so much better. This one is a terrible user experience, more scrolling, small font and they've now changed the class booking times so classes open up at random times throughout the day - an absolutely ridiculous change.

It takes more clicks to even book a class and adding to calendar takes you to calendar whereas before it just automatically added. It's a downgraded user experience.

Also they've changed the t&cs so they can increase prices whilst you're tied in under contract just like the rip off phone companies do.
-- PANDA/23, 2025-12-05

### *---- "Worst app"
No ability to view across all sites and locations. Clearly a very rushed job pulling this app together as even some of the app wording makes no sense at all. it’s total chaos. None of the icons make sense, very unclear how to book a class.
Being able to filter by instructor would also have been a useful feature.
Clunky user interface. Yet again Gymbox charging like Thirdspace but delivering like Puregym
