Previous stats inexplicably don’t carry over to future workouts. Seems broken.
Really good app for anyone following these methods of training. Would really like to see customizable weight progressions then this will be 5/5 for me.
Impressive!
First GZCLP app I’ve used that has no discerning quirks.
I can’t start a new workout because the app just crashes when I hit the plus button and select a workout.
First time I’ve logged workouts regularly. Clean user interface, flexible, and intuitive. Variety of GZCL variants programmed, but I’ve stuck with the original. Nothing but good things to say!
I just wish it had Apple Health Integration. Couldn’t find it in the app anywhere. Update: TM has stayed at 0% for every movement for nearly a year now. What gives?
It seems like it could be an awesome app, but there just aren’t any features. The rest times are different than what the gzcl program recommends, you can’t use it with multiple devices (like an iPhone and an iPad ), and there are no instructions on the app on what to even do. I guess it’s made for people who already know a lot about the program and the app is just a supplement. Hope it gets improved though.
This app is perfect for anyone running the GZCL methods, and being a free app, that makes it all the more accessible. Some suggestions I have after using this app for 6+ months: -adjustable progression formula: men can go up by 5-10 pounds for their lifts easily, women find it easier to progress at 2.5-5 pounds. I have to adjust my lifts down every week because the app assumes I can make those 5-10 pound leaps, when I’m not -make previous exercises visible!!!! I cannot stress this one enough. If I want to see how much I lift last Wednesday I have to go into that day and click “edit”…I’m not editing, I just want to see what I lifted. Right now the summary you see without the edit gives you total lifted (all your reps added together and all the weight added together), significantly less helpful -some kind of progression graph would be amazing to see! Right now I just add my lifts into a spreadsheet so I can make my own graph, but it would nice to be consolidated together
