How much does Halal Japan cost?
Halal Japan has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 34.98 S$.
I’ve been following Halal Japan Page on Facebook for quite some time and now that they have an official App of their own I couldn’t thank enough the work they put into it!
I love the barcode scan feature to check if you want to buy the product and unsure🤔 if it’s halal ✅or haram🚫 to eat! 🤭
I understand the subscription fee is a turn off for some users but the owner of this app worked so hard for their dedication on transiting to mobile app for ease of access! So a little support goes a long way!😁
I have nothing to complain about so far , everything seems good for now 👍🏻
Items
When i scan an popcorn item that i recently bought from welcia its says its halal but when i read it it was written on it that ゼラチン (Gelatin) included ⁉️
Charges?
What’s the yearly charges of this app?
Lack of information
Most of things not shown, at least convenience store things should be shown all.
Stupid apps

I am a Japanese Muslim, and I was introduced to this app for determining halal food. To be frank, I can’t trust it at all. As seen in other reviews, there are instances where halal products contain haram ingredients, and conversely, some products labeled as haram are actually halal. This app is completely unreliable. Brothers and sisters, let’s make sure to educate ourselves so that we can live without relying on such apps.
Needs a lot of work
The camera doesn’t work. The search bar doesn’t work. No filter for products within the store.
I just came out of a conbini with just a bread. Because I spend 40 minutes just find this bread from products list + 20 minutes to search for the cheese available in conbini to see if it is halal.
I couldn’t find the cheese in halal or haram section. The searching system needs an upgrade.
Many missing products
The App has a good product selection but is missing many items. A 'submit new product' feature would be helpful.
Wrong results……
I scanned the product and it shows halal, but I checked with the friends who lived in Japan for 9 years and it was not halal.
I never use it
