Hallow: Prayer & Meditation

Listening to the Word of God has never been easier to integrate into a busy life. The app even has lofi and meditation music which I can play in background. I have started to listen to the short daily reflections on commute as well as prayers . Not saying I don’t slack! I work in a busy healthcare setting! But it’s easier to get back on track and focus on Christ . Even my non catholic friend has subscribed to it.Praise God for this app. Mayb shd tier it more so it can be more affordable to youth and overseas users.

Was surprised to be charged immediately after agreeing to the 7 day trial. Was under the impression that it would only charge after the 7 days. Have requested a refund.

Use to have the play next button so I could listen seamlessly to the episodes of the cocc when I drive. Now the button is no longer there.

This app has helped me to constantly keep in touch with God, whenever and wherever I am. I can be driving and listening to the daily readings.

Genuinely taken aback on how good this app is! Technical wise, the UI/UX is well thought and very smooth. The graphics are simple yet beautiful. Content wise, it is wonderful!!! I have been listening to Bible in A Year by Fr Mike and I can see how Jesus is calling me back to Him

Am sure like me, many of us are taught to recite religiously but our relationship with God isnt about knocking out words we have memorised by now. It is about focus, intention and communication. Much like how you’d pursue a relationship with a new love, the dates you put efforts into getting ready to meet your love and enjoying every moment spent. Thinking about them even when you are apart. I hope with this Hallow app, I can work towards an ongoing pursuit of our love for God, grow closer to Him and make Him our first focal point of the day, mid day or even end day, anytime of the day in fact! I started on Ash Wednesday with Prayer 40. I am totally enjoying the app and how I get to hear uplifting and heart opening sharings from the daily prayers. Thank you!

I love that Hallowed has a free version which doesn’t have ads, and doesn’t push you into purchases like how literally every other app does. The recordings give me the best sleep I’ve had in a very long time.

Too many items are locked unless on paid subscription. Subscription cost is high on monthly basis. Why make money out of faith?

Just downloaded the app and been using it for three different reflection sessions. I’m Glad that I’ve found an app with reflection sessions and prayers that is Catholic in nature; this allows me to reflect in greater ease and peace of mind. It also encourages me to pray since there are guided prayer sessions, useful for me as I am not regular in my prayers or pray Long enough!
