When I was setting up a POTA in the old HAMRS, it showed the name of my park when I put in the number. This helped me confirm that I had the number right. The new HAMRS Pro does not do this. It pops up the names for P2P entries, but I don’t worry about that so much. -- Beavertonian, 2026-09-08 ### ***** "Finally a GREAT App for Logging" I work CW for POTA hunting and a couple other events and this App meets my needs to a “T”. I find uploading to QRZed only takes a few clicks, once that’s done another few clicks ON QRZed and off it goes to LOTW. The best part though is that the App syncs between my 2 iPads, iPhone and PC effortlessly without fail…….. love the Maps, detail on each Activator, direction and mileage. Hats Off to the developer. -- Pickenjack, 2026-08-20 ### **--- "Paid not happy" Logging worked fine but file upload to pota didn’t work. Info was configured wrong and pota wouldn’t accept file. Never had this problem with the free version. -- Meg spine, 2026-06-17 ### *---- "HAMRS API KEY" I downloaded the Pro version for $4.99 from the Mac App Store. I’m attempting to set it up. I’ve enter my call sign, name etc. I went to the config screen and entered my paid QRZ api key. However, I don’t know where to get the harms api key. Nowhere in the setup was I asked for a email address so I couldn’t get to support so I resorted to the review section. -- Doc2105, 2026-04-05 ### ***** "It’s simple, and it works." Hams are the hardest bunch to please, but this app works seamlessly between devices. Server time and space isn’t free, so it’s expected to have to pay something for that functionality. I hunt pota at home and log from my Mac Mini. In the field I log from either my laptop or iPad. Mobile I log from my iPhone. If I do an activation in the field, it’s no big deal to download the log and upload it to pota.app on my desktop when I get home. Rig control works fantastically well. Click on a pota spot with flrig installed and running and your radio tunes to the spot and the info gets moved to the logger. Also integrates with WSJTX, although I don’t do much ft8 and haven’t tried this. Good, easy to use logger. Can’t complain at all. -- Jhbeal, 2025-08-27 ### *---- "Very Disappointed" Used the version that downloads for free on my Mac and found it useful. Downloaded this version for my mini-iPad and that was my first mistake. This version is subscription fee based. There are many better options available for logging in my opinion. -- Roberts618, 2025-08-21 ### *---- "Ehh" Worked for a week even after paying for a subscription now it doesn’t work at all. -- OhItzYouBob, 2025-08-14 ### ***** "Allows more portability" I downloaded the App, and it synced my data immediately after I entered the API. Since I am almost always portable, due to living in a Condo, this sure helps with logging, and syncing data on the go. I see some consternation in reviews regarding having to pay for the app, however I understand the cost of developing and maintaining an App, so I have no such concerns. If you need flexibility—this is a reasonable solution. -- FinalPathagoras, 2025-04-02 ### *---- "Not so pro except the price" Apparently you have to pay a subscription to sync you own data even though you pay for the app. Two thumbs down. I want a refund -- nksmith70, 2025-03-11 [View all HAMRS Pro reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## HAMRS Pro Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Paid | Canada | Utilities | #18 | | Top Paid | Czechia | Utilities | #35 | | Top Paid | United States | Utilities | #51 | | Top Paid | Canada | Overall | #175 | | Top Paid | Czechia | Overall | #218 | ## HAMRS Pro Discovered Keywords - amateur radio - on - ham - hamrs pro ## Apps Similar to HAMRS Pro - [HAM-Toolbox](https://apptail.io/app/ham-toolbox-HYC/united-states) - [PocketPacket](https://apptail.io/app/pocketpacket-VFlc/united-states) - [RadioMail Classic](https://apptail.io/app/radiomail-classic-gLtc/united-states) - [HamAlert](https://apptail.io/app/hamalert-XHkd/united-states) - [HamLog](https://apptail.io/app/hamlog-EQld/united-states) - [AntScope](https://apptail.io/app/antscope-Wftd/united-states) - [SDR-Control Mobile](https://apptail.io/app/sdr-control-mobile-nzIk/united-states) - [xCluster](https://apptail.io/app/xcluster-Ocwl/united-states) - [iFTx](https://apptail.io/app/iftx-VlSn/united-states) - [B.B.
