You and your computer team mate play against a team of computer players. The computer players do not cheat -- they follow well established rules for good play. If you are good, you will be able to win. Each player is dealt a hand of 11 cards plus another pile of 11 cards called a "foot". Both members of a team play cards onto piles on the table that have the same value of cards. A pile of 7 or more cards is called a "canasta". Wild cards can be used on piles (making them "dirty canastas") or without wild cards (making them "clean canastas"). When you play all the cards in your hand, you may pick up your foot pile and continue playing. Once the minimum number of piles has been reached (4 "dirty canastas" and 3 "clean canastas", the first player that discards all the excess cards from their hand goes out and stops the play of that hand. A total of 5 hands are played for a game. Each hand becomes harder (more points required to begin playing cards on the table). Please fix these issues! Just played 4 games where partner #2 let me go out without having played over 200 points that could have been. Please change this right away. Automated partner dirties a clean one and then adds a clean card to the same canasta in the same play. Seems to prioritize getting rid of wild cards near end of hand even when a clean canasta is worth more points. Does not even go out on the play. Just dirties a canasta. 3. As other players have noted, the automated player just holds several playable cards even when we could catch the opponents with theirs. Doesn’t attempt to go out. Doesn’t ask me if I would like to go out. Of course opponent plays this way too. Could catch me with many cards but mistakenly waits for me to catch up. Not slow IMHO, but does dirty clean rows when it’s not trying achieve anything (going into foot, going out, and will dirty a clean row before playing other cards on already dirty rows that would allow it to play extra wild card on dirty row.
