I would rather what other apps do, which is give you the icon and then you make the shortcut to open app... Whenever I wanna use an icon "that I paid for" it opens a blank app and then the app it's supposed to. Just gimme the god damn jpeg I'll make the shortcut myself!

I would like to purchase the actual widgets that I want to use, once and never worry about it again. Not everything has to be a subscription, yet every single good widget (especially the only ones I was advertised) require a weekly or yearly subscription. The yearly subscription price is fair, but widgets should not need a subscription. I just want to pay ONCE for the widgets I want to use. Couldn’t even get a single widget I liked without being forced to sign up for one.
