This is a horrible service.   Completely overpriced, then when they ask you to rate they service, they ask you to tip.   It’s best to go directly to a service directly, either a brick and mortar place, a business with a phone number on the side of their truck or van, or even one that just has its own website. 

They seem to charge by the hour and not by the task.  They encouraged me to book for 2 hours, and what I had done only took about one.

I only used them because I was in a time crunch and scheduling was easy.   Also it was a matter of safety.   

So disappointed.

Zero accountability - pros cancel all the time. And Handy conveniently marks the job as complete. Call customer service and wait time is 75 mins. Not worth the headache - absolutely avoid!

I can’t even log into this app. I tried to have people come to put my TV up from LG and book through here but they send them to the wrong address. I try to go and talk to customer service. They have no reply very terrible. I highly do not recommend this app

Costco outsources to Handy and Handy outsources to Angi and random others!
My TV mounting brackets were installed upside down without all the necessary safety features resulting in a precarious situation that I had to remount myself. I will never use Handy (or whomever it arbitrarily outsources).

Booked an appointment, notified that my ‘professional’ had to reschedule last minute on the day of the appointment. Waited the next four days to my new scheduled appointment time, during the appointment window I get a text that it has been booking has been “cancelled due to limited professional availability in your area in the coming weeks.” 

Why schedule a window if you didn’t have a repair guy scheduled? I took off work for two days and my heater is still broken during winter. This app is a waste of time and money. BEWARE.

You’ll be hoping the Handyman complete YOUR projects. This app is an unfinished Beta. You’ll be praying IF you get Matched at all,  that the worker will complete Your project better than their own Handy App.   The Help page is blank. The scheduler is worthless. No support provided. Great offer via Costco but just really no help at all.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with the Handy app. I needed to reschedule a Handy Pro TV installation because it was scheduled a day before my LG TV was even delivered—what were they planning to install, thin air?

When I tried to get help, the app’s “Help” button led me to a completely blank white screen. My app is fully up to date, so there’s no excuse for such a glitch. There is ZERO customer support to assist with rescheduling or resolving issues.

This app is a total failure. It’s unreliable, unhelpful, and a complete waste of time. I wouldn’t recommend Handy to my worst enemy. If I could, I’d give this app a negative 5 stars out of 5. Avoid at all costs!

Not only is it impossible to get handy to respond to you they do not check their professionals… I scheduled a booking two weeks in advance for the pro not to show up last minute… I work from home and have homeschooled kids so arranged to leave the house for the day because I’m having a family gathering over the weekend and now there’s no time to get a replacement cleaner so they literally just ruined my weekend… Prior to this last pro that came I paid for extras to be done and have my fridge cleaned out, and other things were not cleaned… They skipped behind the toilets they did not sweep. They did not wipe down counters and of course handy did nothing to make this right.
I am now out of pocket The money I paid, and now have to do the job I paid for myself. Don’t Go Through this App! I am so mad that I paid for services. I did not receive, and they are not refunding the money, even though I have timestamp photo proof of the first cleaning gone bad and now the no-show from their professional.
