### ****- "A little buggy"
I love the concept and enjoy the interface, to a degree. It seems to have some bugs when I am attempting to edit a piece or switch views in Somme of the typewriter modes. Otherwise, I enjoy the features and love the feeling of typing at a cafe with headphones on and hearing the keys snap and crackle. You can open music apps and have the clacking keys under the sound of Coltrane and Tyner trading fours.

If you are easily frustrated by an app that  continually crashes, then this is NOT, the app for you.  I love this idea of this app and it is fun when it works which is RARELY. First of all, I absolutely love the time, care, and effort that was put into this app. It really is beautiful. The sound, look and feeling of using this app captures the experience of writing on a typewriter perfectly. So thank you very much for making this.  My only issues with this app are with the mobile version. On my computer the app is completely flawless, and has now become my primary writing app. But on my phone, it lags so badly that it’s nearly impossible to write with. And anytime that I try and backspace the focus of the screen shifts up so that I can’t see what I’m erasing. I’m still going to purchase the entire collection for my computer. But I would love it if the mobile app could work as flawlessly as the desktop version. Regardless, I still love this app.

Hanx Writer is more than an app—it’s a love letter to writing. A little typewriter on a screen that makes you feel like you’re back at a desk in 1953, coffee cooling beside a half-finished thought.

It hasn’t been updated in years, and yet we still open it, still tap out our words like they matter. Because they do.

Even if only a few of us still use it, that quiet group cares deeply. Please, Mr. Hanks and team—give it a little polish, a little breath of life. Not for the numbers, but for the heart of it.

Some things are worth keeping alive, even quietly.

This app is fun, smart, satisfying, and a great thing to have in our digital world, but it crashes constantly. It seems that’s most likely due to the fact that it hasn’t been updated in 8 years, so I should have expected bugs. 😂 I hope the developers (who are clearly awesome and talented) get back to some updates. This is a way-cool idea, and I would love to use it more!

So, I wake up this morning with my mind in a fog, and suddenly I get the urge to go app-fishing in the App Store and find this "Hanx Typewriter." I didn't know what it was about but was looking for yet another writing app for my iPad, so I said to myself "Why not check it out?"

Wow! Am I glad that I did! Now this is back to basics! (sort of). It really does bring back the memories of typing on a typewriter with the carriage moving back and forth, keys slapping against the page, and the "ding" of the carriage return. Not just that, but I can upload it to Dropbox and it saves as a PDF file! Also love the ability to scroll through pages of the document. And using the Title Page is a great addition to an app that definitely deserves the 5 stars it gets from me!
