Its notifications are not as loud and intrusive as dexcoms. The widget also is more responsive than dexcoms as well. Only problem is Bob’s attitude when your blood sugar is high. Repeatedly I would get notifications that “You must have skipped the diabetes orientation” or “Did you forget to take insulin?”. At first it’s fine but seeing it everyday made me frustrated. Brief spikes in blood sugar are normal after eating. I don’t need Bob to tell me how bad I’m doing when I’m doing just fine. It would make more sense if Bob made these comments for sustained high blood sugar, or just not at all. Irl people already make ignorant comments about diabetes and I don’t need Bob to piss me off anymore than they do.
