Am I trending up, down or maintaining. Weighing daily keeps me honest and aware but this takes away the pressure of the daily number and gives it a healthier overlook. Except I recently changed my goal weight and now the predictions are totally off. I have tried changing all the numbers, as low as 1 pound a week and also putting in my old goal weight, but all of the predictions still come out wrong. The prediction tracker is one of the best parts of the app, so it’s really disappointing that it’s not working for some reason. I have updated the app and it’s still not working. I’ve always been afraid of the scale but Happy Scale has changed that and taught me to use the scale as feedback for my behavior. It’s enabled me to see what is working for my weight loss in terms of food and exercise and what is not. With that knowledge, I can quickly correct myself if needed. In the past if the scale went up that made me feel terrible and sometimes made me spiral. Happy Scale helped to take the emotion out of weighing as the trend line is so reassuring. The number on the scale will naturally fluctuate and that is ok. It let me go back to my start date, put in my beginning weight & then each month I seen a doc & had my weight checked, I was able to go to that date in the tracker & add the weight I was that day & see how far I had come, NOT just how far I had to go! They break down your total weight that you want to lose into 5 pound "milestones" .. right now I'm at milestone 37 of 55. You can choose the free side or pay a small fee for more options!
