I depend on this app a lot when traveling to new places

The price of the app is a small price to pay for anyone interested in vegan/vegetarian friendly restaurants. The filter system makes it easy to find whatever your looking for and the map makes it easy to find those that are near you. Great app

Why can’t I rate non-exclusively vegan/vegetarian places five stars? 1. It sends the wrong message that all vegans are radicals, extremists, etc. 2. As a user I want to know where are the tastiest vegan dishes. Even if the tastiest and most nutritious dish is served in a non-vegan place, I need to be able to discover it. Sounds logical? Not for radicals, apparently. 3. Vegetarian to me (a vegan) is not much better than meat-eating. So why not limit their ratings to four stars as well? (Vegetarianism is a step in the right direction but environmentally it is nearly as bad as it promotes the biggest problem: industrial farming and animals on dairy farms are probably treated worse). Fix your logic and allow proper ratings to all places that serve vegan food! I rate dishes, not places.

Tried the web-app for starters, but so glad I bought the whole app. Such a useful well done app for veggie lovers. App users seem like a nice community also

I love the idea of Happy Cow and use it often when travelling to new cities. What I miss about the app is that I can't add new restaurants in the app on my phone. The app links me to the safari version instead. Otherwise it's quite handy.

Love the app, use it everytime I travel!

The app has connection problems on both the iPhone and iPad. Also, atleast some basic offline functionality should be added to make the app actually useful when traveling. Currently, there's no reason to use the app instead of the web page.
