Checking for changes. Forever.
The app is “checking for changes”. I haven’t even been able to set my remote up in 30 minutes. I haven’t even been able to start, because the app won’t stop “checking for changes” and thinks I shouldn’t be allowed to do anything while it’s “checking for changes”.
Hangs on iOS 17.5
The app hangs a lot on 17.5. Particularly when trying to adjust inputs.
Pure Garbage
I’ve had this hub and remote for years. I had the earlier version of the remote without the hub before that. It’s never worked right. I followed all the steps, called tech support, read the Reddit posts, etc, and nothing can get this to work correctly. It’s just $400 garbage. It used to work somewhat and that’s why I kept it around. It doesn’t switch inputs any longer. It only turns my equipment on and that’s it. I have lost faith with Logitech and will find another company to try.
Oldie but goodie
Bought the harmony universal remote for $70 12/23/2017, to cut down on the number of times my wife called me which of 5 remotes she needed to accomplish what she wanted from our system. It was the best $70 I spent ever. The app was ancient technology when it arrived, and remains basically unchanged. But hey, IT WORKS. I installed the app on an old iPhone, and 6 years later we still use that iPhone exclusively as the universal remote. Considering how often updates cause unintended problems, I’m satisfied with “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. It’s unfortunate Logitech abandoned the Harmony remote and the associated app.
Most inconvenient app ever
Nothing works. Factory resetting does nothing. Hub never connects to internet properly to do its config. 2024 and Logitech still can’t get this right.
Not finished product but functions well
I have been using the Harmony remotes for years and despite the learning curve I very much like the remote. Even though Logitech decided to stop producing them, I decided to stick to Harmony as there is nothing else out their like it. I bought the Elite version and used my current setup on the Logitech Harmony site to program all went very well. It updated to lyes revisions on the remote and hub. No hiccups, no crashes. Software runs well on iPhone and iPad.
Garbage E2012
Worthless.
Get your money back
Works for me
Bought a iPod off eBay which is older technology and the app works great with it. But as I understand it, Logitech has abandoned this product which is too bad.
Crap
Horrible it is crap
Terrible remote control
Does not play well with the app and cloud service. Time to look for alternatives.
